Chapter 27- Shocked

Faith's POV

I was sitting in a meeting still stuck in my deep thoughts at what Dario had said. "Miss Abdella?" a voice called out, cutting me away from my thoughts. "Y-yes?" I replied after clearing my thoughts. "Are you okay?...I've been calling you for about 5 minutes but it seems like you zoned out" Atlas asked professionally as we were in a meeting. "Yes, I am fine" I answered looking away from him. "Please continue" I nodded to the person who was giving us a presentation. Throughout the meeting I could feel a burning gaze on the side of my face and knowing who was behind it, I ignored the gaze and focussed on the presentation instead. 

After the meeting had ended, I started to pack up my belongings and was going to walk out of the door until someone caught my wrist. I looked at the hand that grabbed my wrist and trailed my eyes along it until it reached a face that I once loved. After waiting for everyone to leave the room Atlas
