The Interview

Annie's POV

Jas looks at me like I am the world, and in this moment I guess I am. We have the kids, but we have yet to have a decent time alone with each other. I watch Lilly play as Jas carries us to the benches, sitting with me in his lap. 

I'm now holding Jonas and watching him yawn. He might like to nap out here. I look at Jas, asking, "Could we have like a cradle or something brought out here? I think that Jonas will sleep well in the sun."

Jas smiles as he grabs his phone, texting one of the guards. I see him nod towards Jas and head inside. Jas keeps his eyes on the corner that guard was watching. "Don't worry, it won't take him long to get back. Then we can set Jonas down while we catch up. We haven't had much time to discuss us, and what you want from this, Annie."
