A New Beginning

Jas' POV

I look at this little girl. She has had a good life. Even though the man who created her took her each week, he didn't seem to do any damage to her. The way she is looking at the food Chef made, has me wondering what she ate at home...

"Lilly, are you gonna eat that food or just stare it down?"

Lilly giggles as she picks up her fork. "I don't even know what it is... I think it's something I can eat, right?"

I look at her suddenly worried. "Lilly, do you have any allergies?"

She shakes her head from side to side. "No, I just have never seen this type of food before."

I look at the plate loaded with some fancy food that Chef decided to make. I'm not sure exactly what it's called, but it has some kind of fish in the middle of the plate.

"Hey Chef, what is this stuff?"

Chef comes over to the table with a grin. "It's salmon, with a lot of side dishes on the plate." He pauses as he looks at Lilly. "You are supposed to take a piece of the salmon and dip it into the rice, then
