Victoria and Benjamin hurried to the hospital.

Caution tape and barricades surrounded the crime scene.

All the hospital staff and patients did not linger outside, fearing for their safety. Moreover, because it was late, only the forensic team and the police could be seen.

Louis was also there, talking to a police officer.

He saw Victoria and walked toward her. He also gave Benjamin a nod of acknowledgment.

He frowned and looked at Victoria. He said worriedly, "Why are you here? It's not safe."

Victoria remained calm. "This was a contracted hit. The perpetrator won't be dumb enough to wait here and be caught after killing their target. Where's Ms. Susan? How is she?"

Louis's reply was indifferent. "Her heart couldn't handle the shock along with the immense grief. She fainted on the spot and is currently being treated."

Victoria looked around. She asked Louis, "Can we go in to take a look?"

Benjamin tugged Victoria. "Why didn't you ask me? You can see it if you want. But what's
