He was always interfering with Niklas' plans. He wished for a way to take Rhys out of his position. The Chief Archivist was a very powerful post, almost as much so as the head of the Council. When his mate had died those many years ago he had almost stepped down. He'd sequestered himself for months. Niklas wondered, if his human were to die, would that be enough to weaken him?

The auburn colored wolf laid on the bed, her head resting on her paws. She was so tired of being locked up in this room and hidden.
