Chapter 87: I don't Want This

"What does she mean, how? How else can one get pregnant," the doctor thought looking at the shock registered on Amanda's face, like she had just heard the world's impossible news.

"How is it that I am pregnant?" Amanda asked again. "I take birth control pills and my partner uses protection," she said.

"Maybe you missed a couple of pills and the protection, was not exactly protected," the doctor said.

"No, I can't be pregnant. I don't want it," Amanda said.

"Okay," the doctor said. "First time?" he asked reading the stress Amanda was having.

"Yes," Amanda replied looking like she had just committed a crime for which she had been caught.

"Okay. I understand how you feel about getting something you did not plan for," the doctor began. "But I would want you to think about it first before making a decision," he added.

"There is nothing to think about. I want it out and I want it out now," Amanda said almost yelling.
