Chapter 61

Isabella pov

I feel panic throughout my whole body.

"Ssh calm down it’s just me!" His other arm comes around me and he pulls me tight to his chest.

" Please Belle just let me hold you tonight! Every time I try to close my eyes I hear your scream. I just need you in my arms to be sure you are safe, I promise I won't try anything with you! Just let me hold you close" I hear the pain in his voice and I stop fighting against him, I owe him at least this much for saving me. I have no idea what he has told his wife he is going to do tonight, but if he keeps his hands and lips to himself I can let him have this night close to me.

I hear him take a deep inhale and feel how he starts to relax. He pulls the quilt over us and his hand comes to my back when he pulls me even closer to his chest.
