Chapter 129

Isabella pov

Damien steers the car to the side of the road when the other car comes driving fast at us. Once Damien is out on a field behind the road I see when the other car veer to the other side and accelerates. It quickly leaves us and Silas hits the break beside where Damien and Mia are in my car.

Silas gets out and rushes over to where they are in the car to make sure they are alright.

I take a moment and just try to get my heart to slow down from the scare.

Finding myself sitting and holding the door handle tight I look to the side and see them standing outside my car and talking.

Opening the door I take a deep breath and try to come back to reality.

"Are you alright!" I hear Mia's voice when she walks over to me. Looking at her she looks just fine. I get out of the car and look over at the road, just making sure the car isn't coming back.
