Swoosh!

The strong wind blew Itijah's white beard and hair.

Aldus's right leg paused next to Itijah and slowly stepped back to the ground.

"Are you Madam Emerson's father?"

Aldus turned to look at Dahlia with a face full of astonishment and disbelief.

Dahlia felt both anger and compassion. Tears were welling up in her reddened eyes.

Eventually, she nodded to Aldus.

Aldus stood dumbfounded. He looked between Dahlia and Itijah with a complicated look on his face.

He was somewhat bewildered at the moment.

Dahlia, on the other hand, walked slowly toward Itijah. Suddenly, she looked stern.

She spoke coldly. "I hope what you just said was out of anger and that you did not mean it. Otherwise, if I couldn't save you from Aldus's foot, I would make you pay again!"

Her icy demeanor was like a chilling wind from the depths of Tartarus.
