Chapter 40: True love or infatuation

The doctor watched as he drove away. He was terrified and was not sure if he should approach this terrifying man. He wondered if Clara was also just like him and he went back into the hospital.

He had only met the man's gaze for a few minutes but he could tell he was very angry. He hurried his steps back to his consulting room once inside the hospital.

Ragnor took Clara back home and laid her on the bed, ensuring she was comfortable. He checked her temperature to make sure she didn't have a fever. He kissed her forehead and sat on the chair waiting for her to wake up.

As he waited, he thought of what to say to her to calm her because he knew she was probably scared of him. He is not sure what the doctor had told her but he knew it wouldn't be good.
