Chapter 113: Making an example out of them

Ragnor went to the rooftop. He needed to be alone with his thoughts. Some ground rules need to be set. He stood there looking out in the open for a while.

Later that afternoon, Ragnor assembled the people of the city. The people waited patiently for their king to address them. The people all realize Siku's seat and that of her mother were empty even though everyone was present. Once everyone was sited. Ragnor stood in front to address the people.

"Our land is supposed to be a land of peace. We are supposed to feel safe when we go to bed and feel safe going about our daily activities," Ragnor said, paused and looked at the people.

The vampire lords knew what Ragnor was about to say. Even though they wished to stop him it was difficult to do so because of how Ragnor was presenting the situation. If they stop him, the people will protest.

"It is for this reason," Ragnor continued, "I would not allow the evil doers of the city to go unpunished," he concluded.
