He frowned when he saw her staying quiet. He was almost twenty-eight years old and this was the first time he had done something like that.

“Do you hate it?” he asked with his deep voice. His cold bearing was intimidating even over the phone.

“I love it.”

She knew he had abandoned his cold, arrogant attitude for her sake, but she had to admit that he truly doted on her. That earlier smooch was proof of it. There was even a touch of flirtatiousness in it.

He smiled lightly at her answer. He gave it everything he got and did something he’d never do for her sake. It’d be all worth it as long as she liked it.
