Maia stuck out her tongue and chuckled. In childhood, she often followed behind Marcus, playing with other friends. She used to tease people a lot back then.

Every time, Marcus would pat her little head and say, "Maia, you're a little tease." Right then, Marcus smiled and spoke said it exactly the same.

Maia was taken aback and then burst into laughter. "Marcus, it's been more than ten years. I'm not a little girl or a tease anymore. I'm all grown up now."

"Look at you, saying you're not a tease, but already starting to tease again," Marcus said, smiling. However, his gaze towards her was full of affection.

Inside the car, Cedric's face grew even colder and more terrifying. His sharp eyes fixed Marcus with a fiercely icy stare, as if they were trying to pierce through the car window. He could not sit still any longer and tapped the car window.

Maia heard the knocking sound, seemingly filled with some anger. The car window film was tinted, making it impossible to see Cedric inside.
