Chapter 216 Everyone Else Can Get Lost

Maia looked at Cedric cautiously. She did not want him to try anything on her! She knew that she was no match for him physically.

She glared at him and warned, “Cedric, don’t make me hate you even more!”

“Do you still hate me that much?” he asked. Even though he was smiling, she saw the sadness that briefly flashed across his eyes.

Maia remained silent as she frowned. She noticed that her hate toward him was not as strong as it used to be.

Just then, Cedric’s phone rang. He checked the caller ID and frowned. He released her wrist, making sure that he had not hurt her before picking up the call.

“Mr. Cedric, a few of the artists from the company are spreading rumors about Ms. Maia forcing them into sleeping with her! The company’s and Ms. Maia’s Twitter accounts are a mess!” Buck’s voice was so loud, even Maia could hear him.
