~Sebastien~

Waiting for Tevin to return from Hayland, just forty minutes away, felt like an eternity. My mind was consumed with worry about what he might uncover regarding Winter and Summer. There was an uneasy feeling gnawing at the pit of my stomach, a mix of anxiety and hope that whatever he found wouldn't be as bad as my imagination dared to conjure.

We had taken the precaution of sending them lunch, hoping to alleviate some of the tension that hung in the air like a thick fog. Olga, our reliable maid, had informed us that they had rejected both breakfast and lunch.

Noah dismissed it as mere tantrums, a common occurrence with these two, but deep down, I couldn't shake the concern. We couldn't afford to let them starve themselves, even if it meant playing a waiting game and giving them some space before trying again.

As we bided our time, we delved into the mundane tasks of our daily responsibilities. The office demanded our attention, with a stack of company request letters an

I'm overjoyed by the overwhelming love that this book has received thus far. While I would love to provide daily updates, the reality is that it's impossible for me to do so. Juggling work, school, and family commitments leaves little room for daily updates. I'm not offering excuses, but I want to ensure that I don't break my promise. Therefore, I'll be posting updates every other day. Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated. 🙏

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   18 Late Dinner( Early Breakfast)

~Winter~ Summer and I were taken to a hostel-like building. Walking down the halls, I realised it was where the workers, mainly Omegas, resided. It was a hostel, but it was beautiful. The Alberts took good care of their workers and people. I was impressed by the living conditions. They were better off than most people I have met in other parts. We were led to the bathroom. I enjoyed the warm shower and the strawberry-scented body wash and shampoo I was given. Summer and I spent more than necessary there. The woman attending to us had to return and complain that we were taking forever and that it was past midnight. She didn't appreciate that we kept the Alphas waiting. I didn't care. They were the ones who decided to have a 'late dinner ', which was indeed an early breakfast. Summer was out before me. We were ushered to a locker room with a mirror that stretched the span of an entire wall. I stared at my reflection, and even though the shower was exhilarating, Summer and I looked t

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   19 A Decision Nonetheless

~Winter~ Summer removed the dress, retaining the provided clean cotton underwear, and settled into bed. We intended to wear the dresses in the morning, as sleeping in them would affect their freshness. I followed suit and got into bed. "Do you think our punishment will be lessened?" Summer inquired, and I found myself without a definitive answer. The men appeared as unresponsive as ever, devoid of any visible emotions. It seemed unlikely that they would change. All we could do was wait and observe. "I think we should try and sleep," was all I could manage. Summer and I slept. The exhaustion we felt when we were arrested caught up with us. No one came to wake us up. By the time we woke up, it was twelve in the afternoon. The room had fresh clothes and underwear with tags that said they were brand new, so I figured someone had delivered them. Summer and I used the bathroom to freshen up and wear the new cotton dresses that were brought to us. What we were experiencing was

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   20 In Hell

~Brandon~ It's hard to let go of loved ones, especially when you believe they will always be there, and suddenly they are leaving, and you might never get to see them again. It is as if you had taken every moment with them for granted and wish you could rewind time and fix every wrong you committed to avert this outcome. I indeed gave Winter a new option, a new home. I had spent some money renovating the place for her sake so she would be comfortable, but she wanted to leave. Watching Winter pack her things broke my heart, but I was stupid to think it wouldn't come to this. I had pushed her, and people could only take so much. Hearing they were moving to Mountain broke my heart, and I wondered about my cursed life. I had it all planned out in my head. It wasn't supposed to be this way. I never rejected her entirely. I didn't use her full name so I could maintain my bond with her. I was desperate. Lord Albert had yet to come through for me, and time was running out.

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   21 Settling In

~Summer~ People came out to bid us farewell, even though I was happy about our good fortune. I knew I would miss the people of Hayland. They were kind and accommodating. They never sided with their Luna against us. They helped us with what little they had and supported us all through. It was indeed a good settlement. I hoped the embargo would be lifted and they would have the financial freedom they deserve. We were given gifts and money. It would be rude to reject it, so Winter and I accepted and promised to visit sometime. We knew we might never visit due to Winter's history with Brandon, but it was polite to keep the door open. Pamela didn't take it well at all. She and Brandon left before us, and she was weeping seriously. I just hoped she wouldn't sink into depression. The woman loved Winter so much; it was a shame what happened. But now we were moving on to our next life to face new challenges. The driver drove faster than he did when we were going to Hayland. Gamma Tevin

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   22 Our Date

~Summer~ I could not believe Sebastien was taking me on a date, and he called me a Butterfly. I didn't know how to feel about it. I was nervous, excited and afraid. I feared I might mess things up for us here if things got bad. Even though they offered a good settlement should there be a fallout, I like the environment for us. The children were happy, and there were prospects for the younger ones to be adopted. Winter and I can start our baking business again, maybe not full-time, but it will be attainable. The market is good, and it means we might be able to expand. The possibilities were endless, and because of it, I was afraid that hanging out with Sebastien like this would mess things up. I couldn't shake off the fact that he was mine or supposed to be mine. The ride was somewhat silent until we got into the city. He slowed down and stole a glance at me. He was a bit playful compared to the last time I saw him. It was as if he had let his guard down. "Have you eaten?" He

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   23 How Are Things At The Orphanage

~Summer~ "How are things at the orphanage? Are the kids settling in well?" Sebastien asked, finally something I could discuss with him without feeling uneasy. I nodded. "They love it there; it is fresh air and luxury compared to where we come from. Both you and Alpha Noah have been very kind to us. I doubt we can repay your kindness," I said, and his smile faded as if I was making him uncomfortable. I just hoped it wasn't something I said. "So what do you think about the administration and management of the place? Do you have any idea on how we can improve the place?" He asked, and I frowned at him. "I can't answer that, Alpha. Mary and Joyce run the place; we work under them. They were obvious when they told us we should discuss everything we wanted with them so they could relay it to you or Alpha Noah. We are not to deal with you directly," I said, and there was a tick on his jaw. He was mad. I saw him grind his teeth in annoyance. Sebastien took a deep breath, his eyes narro

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   24 Just For Tonight

~Summer~While we waited for Winter to bring the evidence, Sebastien continued to speak to Mary and Joyce."The two of you have been poisoning the children, I see," Sebastien said, and they shook their heads. "What do you do with all the food and money delivered to this orphanage? Why should they eat poorly, and why will you say such painful things to them? This place aims to create a home for the children where they will be loved and wanted. This isn't a concentration camp. Is this what my mother appointed you to do?" he asked Mary, and she shook her head."And who told you that Miss Ashfield and Miss Crayton would work under you? Didn't you get the memo?" He asked. "They are your supervisors and are in charge of the orphanage. For as long as they are in Mountain, they run the orphanage. Do not tell me that Gamma Tevin didn't tell you," He said, and Mary began to stammer. I couldn't believe they were given the instruction."We were waiting for Lady Albert," Joyce said in a small voi

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   25 Malted Whiskey

Winter The day was truly chaotic, to be honest. All I craved was a sip of whiskey and a good night's sleep. One of the advantages of being in the orphanage was its premium liquor collection, which proved to be a soothing aid for my sleep. Yet, I couldn't shake the concern that my visits to the bottle might be becoming a bit too frequent. I'm mindful not to overindulge, just seeking enough to ease my nerves and find some solace in sleep. After all that unfolded today, I desperately needed some tranquillity. The conflicts with Mary and Joyce had stirred frustration within me. Despite entertaining thoughts of retaliation, I reminded myself of the promise I made to Summer – to keep my composure. So, I chose to adhere to that commitment. Believe me, it was an incredibly challenging situation. Witnessing Mary address the children in that manner and then dismissively telling me to mind my business was truly disheartening. Our arrangement with the Alphas didn't involve working alongsi

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   To My Dear Readers And Co-Writers

I want to start by saying I'm truly sorry for the short chapters. It seems there are now "ideal word count limits" to adhere to. I deeply regret the prolonged silence, but I've been grappling with severe health issues lately, and I'm still in the throes of recovery. I couldn't bear to leave this book neglected for too long, so I pushed through to the end so you all could move on. I do hope to return with a new story soon, and hope you will all be there, but for now, I must concede and focus on recuperating. The silence weighs heavy on me, and I truly hope you enjoyed the story and its conclusion. This marks the final instalment in the DSOF series. Perhaps one day, I'll pen Eleanor's tale, but I'm hesitant to make any promises I may not be able to fulfil. Please bear with me, dear readers and co-writers, and know that I cherish each and every one of you dearly. I will miss you all immensely. I love you all.❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🤗🤗

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   199 To Our Forever Love

~Winter~ A year passed, and all the struggles were a distant memory. Now, we were hosting the gathering in the East, and Summer, Chelsea and I had gone over time. Chelsea was a new mother now. She and Ethan had wasted no time. They claimed each other and got married the next month. Normally, we all thought they would wait, but two months later, she was pregnant, and a lovely girl named Evangeline was the product. Evangeline was a beautiful blonde baby, and we all loved her. We were new moms ourselves, and Summer and I couldn't carry Evangeline as much as we would like. I had twins, and they were adorable. Both of them looked like Stepanovs, and I wondered if my genes ever stood a chance. My daughter's name was Michelle, and My son's name was Frederick. They were adorable, and I loved them so much. Summer had a son, and she and Sebastien named Him Leonardo after Sebasteins's father. He was cute and looked a lot like his grandfather, but he had green eyes like Summer. She w

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   198 Fated Or Not

Ethan I was nervous about seeing Chelsea. Although we said it wouldn't matter if we weren't fated, I didn't know why I was suddenly nervous. I had never cared for anyone the way I cared for her, and I knew it was the same for her. So I wondered why I was unwilling to see her tonight. Her eighteenth birthday was in a few hours, and I had promised to be the first person to see her, but my heart was beating fast. I had stayed away from the house all evening, avoiding her. She said she would spend the time with me, and Noah had confirmed that she was in our home. Though not showing, we found out after the wedding that Summer and Winter were pregnant, and they were very peckish, so Chelsea always brought them snacks. Although Summer and Winter had planned a party for her, it wasn't going to take place until the evening of her birthday. It had been torture waiting these months, and now it was finally time for me to make her mine. I never planned to be with anyone except for her, so

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   197 The Bluemoon Night (Lucland)

~Gemma~ It had finally come to this, and after the crowd and everyone had left, Lucas and I drove home from the estate. Although our wedding took place at the estate, I was now at Rivers, and my man was taking me home. How could I have tried to make it difficult for him? He was genuinely in love with me. Our union was embraced by both families, and Katalina was a thing of the past. The fact that nothing had ever transpired between her and Lucas made me relax. I didn't feel guilty one bit. Lucas had had some girlfriends, but he was mine now. He pulled me to his body in the back seat of the limo that was taking us home. Lucas crashed his lips on mine, drinking me in. Our wolves had claimed each other in the eyes of all and the moon. He was mine through and through. The moment the bond formed, I knew I had found my forever love. I kissed him. Every fibre of my being was burning with desire. I wanted him. My body craved him. He had made love to me severally since we returne

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   196 The Bluemoon Night

~Winter~ The day of the blue moon had finally arrived, and I was consumed with nerves like never before. I'd been down this road once, and it hadn't ended well. As I veiled my face, my eyes met Summer's, resplendent in her wedding attire. Her touch on my hand offered reassurance. "It won't be like last time, Winter. This is real," she whispered, her words calming my racing heart. I nodded, believing this time would be different. Noah's love was steadfast. Lady Amelia entered the tent, her eyes alight with happiness. In her hands were two ornate jewellery boxes, undoubtedly meant for us. "You both look stunning tonight," she beamed, her words touching my soul. Lady Amelia loved us as a mother would her child; she cherished us as much as her own sons, a rare bond that set her apart. Approaching me, she unveiled the contents of the box meant for my adornment. A breathtaking gold necklace adorned with sapphire stones and dazzling diamonds lay nestled within. It was a masterpiece. "I

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   195 The Hearing

~Noah~ Three weeks passed, and the dust finally settled when the fugitives were apprehended by an angry mob of people eager to prove to their monarch that they were sorry for allowing themselves to be used and deceived into hindering progress. They had killed Kane and Ramos, leaving Gavin and Moses. I could bet that the only reason why they left Gavin and Moses, judging by the state they were in when they brought them, was because they wanted to deliver them to the authorities. They were battered, and silver was clamped on their wrist. I wished I had witnessed the mog action. Some parts of it were in the news. With the way the people surrounded them. They had no choice. It was a battle lost before it started. They had sprayed them silver dust to incapacitate them and then beat Kane and Ramos to death while they chained Gavin and Moses for judgment. I guess the King's words, coupled with my father's words and show of disappointment, got to them. Indeed, they had unknowingly helped

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   194 Won't Let You Slip

~Anthony~ My wolf was urging me to bridge the gap and assert our claim, but I remained dumbfounded. Frankly, I never imagined it would happen, especially not with Aspen. Here I was, enamoured with Chelsea, even competing with Ethan for her attention, when all along, it was Aspen who held my heart. Was Aspen the catalyst for my feelings for Chelsea? I realised I often encountered her before seeing Chelsea, yet I was too preoccupied with Chelsea to consider Aspen. I remember my first time at the orphanage; she was the one at the door greeting us, and she was particularly nice to me. On the second occasion, I went there, I ended up spending time with her. She opened up to me, telling me what she wouldn't dare tell anyone. The bond had been rearing its head, and I was too stubborn to realise it. She was the one who came to celebrate the victory with me when I was feeling lonely. It was her all along. Fate threw me her way severally and put her in my face, but my desires did not allo

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   193 Going home

~Anthony~ I waited for Aspen to pack her belongings in the evening so we could leave. I was going to leave the next day, as I had told Ethan, but my father had urged me to leave immediately. Everyone had gone back home, so waiting was pointless. Luis was around, though, and he planned to leave the next day. I was the only one still in Mountain, so I could understand when my parents asked me to go home. I escorted Aspen to her father's house so she could pack her belongings, and I went there with warriors just in case the man was being funny. I knew this was the right thing for her. If she stayed there any longer, she would end up dead. One day, he would take it too far and leave the silver on her a little too long for her body to recover. I had no obligations towards her, but I could not ignore her cry for help. Kirill was outside, and he looked at me, angry and powerless. He knew it was over. I was a lord so there was nothing he could do but just stew in his anger. "You c

  • Wild Heart, Untamed Alphas   192 Homecoming

~Leo~ As we made our way there, Ethan and Sebastian, accompanied by Summer and another girl who seemed to share the same origins as Summer and Winter, clung to Ethan. The girl wore a t-shirt with the words "Victory: because Adulthood is overrated" printed on it. Seeing how the girl and Ethan clung to each other, I knew they were together. They walked to me quickly, and Summer let go of Sebastian and hugged Amelia tightly. "We missed you; we were worried and scared," She confessed, and Amelia rubbed her back lovingly as a mother would hug her child. "I heard you fought well, Luna," she teased Summer, and Summer broke the hug with tears in her eyes. She was overjoyed to see us. She hugged me, too, but she didn't say anything. I looked at Ethan, and he had a straight face, but I could tell he was hiding his emotions. Amelia pulled him to a hug. "I am so proud of you, son," She said, and he held on to her; his hands shook, and I could tell he had feared the worst. Breaking the hug,
