It didn’t take long before Vito came downstairs. “Are you ready?” His voice sounded from the stairs.

“Yes, Boss,” I replied, making my way to the door.

He walked to the door and a frown formed on his face. “Boss?” He opened the door and we both walked out of the house.

“That’s what workers call their employees right?”

“Stop teasing me, babe.” He took my hand and we walked to the cars waiting for us.

Thinking back to when I first met him, I said I wasn’t going to have anything to do with him but life had other plans.

We got into the car and headed to the place where the trade fair was happening. It was taking place on a street close to Ellie’s house.

“How’s Damon and Ariana?” I asked Vito. I hadn’t seen much of Ariana or even talked to her after the party at the hotel.

“I have no idea. He doesn’t tell me about whatever’s going on in their life.” He replied, his eyes fixed on his phone.

“Do you feel Damon drifted away after he got into a relationship with Ariana?”
