Chapter 41

Vio left Brian's residence because she did not want to continue to hear the words that cornered her. She returned to the place where Kyra was kidnapped. Now, the grey-eyed girl was there in a taxi. Vio looked around; who knew there was CCTV there.

Vio sighed in disappointment. What she was looking for was not there. She then headed to where the kidnapper had left the car—arriving at the river's edge, Vio's eyes probing again. She walked closer to the dusty car. She was very sure if the vehicle that brought Kyra. Vio even memorised the license plate even though it was a fake one.

There's a police line there. Brian has indeed reported this to the police; which father doesn't panic when he finds out that someone has kidnapped his child.
