04. Captivating Her

"You were like roses with thorns, it hurts to touch but make me happy at the same time"

Karan was actually whipped up by seeing her from the moment he entered. He just couldn't take off his eyes only and felt a strong urge to kiss her soft plump lips which is getting apart slowly whenever she speaks or sigh. 

Those carpet red paint on her lips was damn inviting for him making hard to resist himself. And that chuckle of her made his heart stolen already the moment he saw her. While her smile made his existence lively and just for her one smile he can kill any one. 

Damn, she is fucking Captivating!!, he cursed, internally.

His eyes didn't miss to notice the swollen eye bag of hers. And that view for him wasn't less than a glass peice piercing his skin. But still he was happy seeing, she was smiling genuinely with his sister and was not faking out for even a second.

Breaking his trance Avni asked him to have water, juice, snacks or something and he looked at her for a second flashing a quick smile, picking juice glass from the table. 

He was about to take a sip with eyes again fixed on her observing her action and features in detail. But instead of his tongue to taste, his shirt tasted as he poured it on his shirt only. He stood up and everyone gazed upon him.

"Are you fine?", Aditya asked.

"Here, take it", Avni said.

As she gasping, quickly passed him a napkin to clean. She then ushered to get it dry cleaned by servants but he stopped saying it's okay and he would manage. 

"Bhai is so captivated her by that he dropped juice on himself. Lol!!", Sammy whispered in Ariha's ear but Dia still heard it and gazed upon him secretly.

"Lol... True that", Ariha agreed.

But the juice poured on him started feeling sticky and still he had a calm face which was quite abnormal of him. As he is hardly a calm person and more like a agitated one; which made his siblings and mother amused but remained quiet. 

Later, Avni sees his face and forcing, sends him with one of the maid for washroom to clean it.

Shalini and Avni then started talking about random things, while Kabir, Aditya and her grandpa talked about business. On the other side, Dia didn't pay much heed to their talks first but when they suddenly blurted out about marriage and its date, her breaths hitched.

Dia couldn't breath hearing that mere thing while every hair on the back of her neck and arms stood in attention. Her ears got alert. She couldn't focus anymore to what Ariha and Sameer were talking but only her parents conversation.

"Kabir, did you find out the date?", Aditya asks.

"The wedding should be held next week according to the priest's prediction. And the engagement can be held the day after tomorrow as it's a good day", Shalini quickly replies.

Her heart sank down deep inside her stomach with that information. And just with that tears pooled up in her eyes again threatening to roll down. She felt weak but didn't want them to see her tears so she excused herself and left, running for her room. 

Her bangles and anklets sound grabbed every attention sitting there making their head snap at her direction. Ariha and Sameer looked at each other and then at her disappearing figure thinking if they said something wrong. 

"Why did she ran away?", Sammy asked.

Ira blamed at Sammy saying he must have made her feel awkward or bad and he protested seeing it's her not him. 

Aditya looked at Avni and she blinking her eyes in understanding said, "Maybe she felt like using the washroom."

"But…", Ira was about to say something but then shrugged it off.

Kabir and Shalini smiled at that knowing it's not true, while they stopped fighting. As all the elders assumed already that Dia must have heard them and that's why she left. 

Meanwhile, as Dia was running to her room she bumped up with someone and goraned in pain. She loooked up as she rubbed her head while hissing to find Karan staring at her holding his jaw.

"Is her head made up of steel or what? Fuck!! It hurts like bitch", he said in his mind.

"Ughh!! My god it's his jaw or soemthing else. Gosh!! It's hurting like hell", she said in her mind.

They both then flashed a forced smile and were about to vacant when his eyes noticed new tears in her eyes. And by it's own when his hands reached to wipe her tears while rubbing his jaw, he couldn't realise. 

His sudden touch made Dia broke her trance and look down while he wiped them lovingly and her tears somehow dried up.

She don't know why seeing her automatically her inside cyclone got calm down and tears dried up. But she discovered seeing this man everytime makes her heart beat abnormal and oxygen get less in her lungs while stomach starts feeling butterflies in them. 

His eyes were observing how she was breathing heavily for getting adequate oxygen and eye lashes were lowered with lips apart.

He placed his finger under her chin making her honey brown eyes meet with his dark brown eyes again. Their heart skip a beat when they made eye contact and it take his everything from stopping himself to kiss her. His thumb was caressing her jaw skin as he lightly cupped her face. Her mind was frozen and all she could think or see was only him and nothing else of him. 

"Are you fine?", he blurted out of concern and she nodded making him smile.

Her cheeks were all red again and he loved the way she reacted to him making him proud of his effects on her. Her oxygen level was getting more low with his thumb now caressing her chin and legs felt jello. 

On the other side, Ariha feeling agitated stood up as Dia was taking time dragging Sammy with her. And left for checking on her asking the direction from Avni.

When she was about to walk towards her she froze seeing her going to be bhabi was having a cute moment with her bhai and smiled cheekily. While Sameer aka Sammy coming behind, hits on her head asking why is she standing and she with a scowl pointed towards them making him smile too.

"Wow!! Here we were feeling guilty thinking she was sad because of your lame joke but here the new going to be couple are enjoying their moment. I mean if they wanted to spend time they could have just asked us or said we would have arranged", he blurted and Ariha rolled her eyes.

"You are such a doofus.. can't you see they accidentally met and are now lost in their moment", she said looking at him.

"Oh! Whatever!! Now, are we going to just stare them the same way they are staring each other? Or will we call them for having lunch also, I'm hungry!!", he said feeling annoyed first but later pouted pointing his stomach.

"Huhhh?", she muttered feeling amused with his desire to eat food again.

"What? Mom said to call bhai for lunch", he said and walk passed her.

He called his brother going near them before Ira aka Ariha could stop him and their trance broke. He took his hand back and she looked down getting startle with his sudden voice. 

She felt embarassed being caught in such awkward situations making her cheeks and ears get burn with the arising heat. And left for her room without wasting a single second making Karan stare at her disappearing figure. 

Ira seeing her walkout went towards her brother and slapped Sammy's arm throwing daggers. While Karan glared him too cursing under his breath for his interruption.

"What? You guy's were just staring each other only. It's not like were doing something and I disturbed", he justified his action earning two slaps more.

"Don't worry Sammy even you will get your Mrs. Kundra one day and then I'll teach you how it feels", Ira said with a tight smile and he rolled his eyes.

"Bhai it's lunch time and so, mom is calling you", she said and walked past them making two boy's stop her.

"Where are you going now? Dining room is that side", Sammy said.

"To call her dufos. Now, shoo I'll come with her", she answered and walked off
