Race's POV
I accepted my fate. Tanggap ko na ang lupa ang siyang sasalo sa akin. But I was wrong as a pair of hands held me by my armpit. I opened my eyes and saw him. He pulled me up carefully. Tila ba isa akong bata na manghang-manghang nanunuod sa isang magician.
I never thought I will be saved. Akala ko lupa na ang kababagsakan ko.
"Thank you, Lucas." I said afterwards. He was panting for air as his palms were pressed on his knees.

Race's POVI sneaked on my phone and disappointment got the shit of me. Wala pa rin kasing reply si Zena simula pa kagabi. She should have been preparing for school right now.
