CYRUS’ POV

My head was hurting, and I could feel the familiar process of a vision coming in as I struggled to hold myself upright. But it felt different, as if it was some sort of advanced form of a vision and a mind link combined together.

“Stephen,” I called out, unsure if it was really him.

“Cyrus, listen to me, I don't have much time. Listen closely, she's somewhere in the forest; close to the border. I don't exactly know where because we moved her two nights ago.”

He continued, “She's alive for now but they plan to kill her and Cynthia soon, so you have to hurry.”

“Stephen,” I called out as he was sucked out of the dark room, my head spinning as I re-appeared in the sitting room.

I shook my head as I looked up at Clyde and Natalia, their faces mirroring worry as they stared at me.
