Chapter4

“Objection Arthur,what does this have to do with the question?” Anthony said.

I turned my attention to consular Anthony who seemed to be furious. And I know exactly why.

“He’s right, what’s all of this has to do with you going rogue.”

“I want to ask you something before I continue my story, what is the job of the counsel exactly?”

“To make sure that everything runs smoothly amongst our kind and to help those who need help.”

“So tell me something then Authur, why wasn’t help sent to the blood moon pack after countless letters had been sent asking for help, and they were addressed to you Anthony, sorry counselor Anthony?”

“What letters are you talking about?” Anthony screamed.

“These letters.” I slammed my copies on the table, Aurthur jumped, then stretched his hand.

“Can I see them?” Authur asked.

“No you can’t, not till I finish with my story.”

“Continue then.”

My trip to the neighborhood pack is in a couple days. So I’ve been training really hard and when I’m not I’d spend as much time looking at my mate.

I won't lie, just looking at her makes me smile, others may think I’m a creep but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that she’s mine and I can stare at her till the moon falls.

I then made my way to the training grounds to meet up with her brothers Gabriel and Jack, they are first and second lead warriors there both fast and really strong.

So it’s weird to me that they couldn’t catch up with the guy or the guys who were committing these crimes. I walk over to them and watch as they fight, I watch their movement, both foot and hand movements, their posture, how they would fall and get back on their feet as quickly as possible. So how the hell did they not hear or see this guy is beyond me.

“Hey brother in law, what's up?” Gabriel asked

“I have a couple of questions to ask you guys.”

“Are we being interrogated bro, wait do you think we harmed that girl?”

“No, I’d never think that, I just want to know what went down.”

“We were patrolling the area because it was our morning. When we headed over to the waterfall we heard faint whimpering and it sounded like someone was dragging themselves.” Jack said

“Ok what else.”

“We rushed through the forest and we saw her dragging herself on the floor. At first we didn’t recognize her, her face was dirty and her scent was mixed with dirt and mud and an overpowering perfume.” Gabriel said

“Perfume?”

“Yeah, a strong perfume like those expensive ones you see in the window of the shopping mall but you could only look at them because you can’t afford them.” Gabriel said

“I know the ones.”

“When Jack picked her up, he asked her what her name was and that’s how we knew who she was. But it was a horrible site man. Her clothes were torn, her breast was hanging out . You could smell the blood on her man.” Gabriel said

“I could imagine,”

“So enough about that I don’t want those flashbacks , where would you be taking our sister for her birthday?” Jack asked

“Ohh shit her birthday when is it again.”

“You’ve got to be kidding, you know what it’s best we introduce her to one of our friends from long hill, he’ll remember her birthday, he remembers it every year.” Gabriel says

“What’s his name again, right Paul?” He snapped his finger and I just rolled my eyes.

“Of course I remember, probably to dinner at my place.” I said

“No, nope, not happening. A restaurant around people .” Jake said.

“And keep your hands to yourself, my sister isn’t to have sex till the day I die.” Gabriel said.

“I don’t think she’d be able to contain herself don’t you see how hot I am.”

“Bro, no touching, especially in the but area.”

“Or chest area.”

“Heck don’t even kiss her till we die.”

I chuckle at them both as they show their overprotective side.My mind got lost for a moment as I smelled her entering the training room lemon and honey that combination always amazes me. I could feel her spirit mood, she’s always jumping around and giggling like the kid she is. I never want that to stop ever.

“ Look at him, look he’s such a sap.” Jake said

“She’s going to wrap him around her pinky finger.” Gabriel said

I flipped them off and turned my attention to my sweet mate, she came running in our direction with the biggest smile on her face.

“Who's going to wrap who around their pinky?” She asked.

“Gabriel’s mate.” I blurt out.

“She’s going to run for her life, when she hears him snoring. He sounds like a big bear.”

Everyone laughs at her choice of words, even Gabriel hell I guess it’s true.

“So what’s up sis what brought you over?”

“Ohh I just came to check up on you guys, you know to see if anyones messing with you.”

We laughed again as she got into her defense position.

“If you stand like that you’ll be the one getting messed with.” Gabriel said laughing.

We stood there for a couple minutes more and I couldn’t take my eyes off of her, she’s the most beautiful creature I’ve ever laid eyes on. We said our goodbyes and I headed home.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day of traveling. And if I want to get back home before my mates birthday, I’ll have to find out who the hell attacked a young omega girl at the Blue lagoon pack and fast.

I laid there with my eyes wide open, I couldn’t sleep, there was something I was missing and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. As I looked out the window and I saw the sun rising I sighed loudly. Today is going to be a really long day.
