Chapter 404

Shawn steered the car and purposely made several sharp turns to provoke the SUV driver behind them.

Just as expected, driven by impatience, the car behind began swerving and bumping into things. The car seemed to be floating.

"Now!" Natasha exclaimed.

Shawn seized the opportunity in time and repeated the old trick.

The SUV crashed into a tree, making a loud impactful sound.

"Amazing!" Natasha's heart, which had been tense all along, finally returned to normal.

The car continued to speed away, leaving the other vehicles several miles behind.

Natasha finally felt safe. She patted her chest, still feeling the lingering fear. "I thought you really wanted to jump out of the car just now. You scared me."

"I'm not that foolish," Shawn finally replied.

The tension in the car finally dissipated.

The car returned to Imperial Heights safely.

Only when Natasha got out of the car did she realize how severely damaged it was.
