"What are you trying to say?" she demanded with a frown. "Dr. Sullivan selflessly came to save Grandpa Philip without asking for anything in return, and all he gets is your criticism?"

As Natasha continued, her tone grew colder. "Do you even realize how many people outside are begging the Sullivan family for medical assistance?"

Before Joshua could even respond, Natasha added, "If you're going to insist on questioning the doctor's professionalism, I'm afraid there's not much I can do about it."

In Natasha's opinion, once someone made a subjective judgment, it was hard to change their mind no matter how much one tried to convince them.

Daniel got out of the car but stayed close by. He walked over to Natasha. "Who's calling? Is it Joshua?"

Natasha nodded and then waved her hand toward the building. "You go ahead. I'll talk to him."
