Ryan was confident he could complete the project successfully.

He wanted to prove to Natasha that he had learned much from following her, and also prove his worth. This was the only way he could remain at Natasha's side.

Fearing that Natasha might be worried, Ryan added, "You can trust me on this. I can handle this. I'll rest if my body can't handle it."

Feeling relieved to hear Ryan's sincere reassurance, Natasha said, "I'll leave it to you, then. Go and get some rest."

After hanging up, Natasha slowly finished her nettle tea. The tea was bitter, but Natasha seemed numb to the bitterness as she drank it all.
