Charles looked at Esther with pride. In his mind, Esther was officially a part of the Phoenix Mafia. He then turned his attention back to Tyler.
"Heed our warning, Tyler. Stay away from Esther; for that matter stay away from everyone associated with the Quinton Consortium! They are all under my protection. Our protection.""You go against them, it means you go against all of us... and we will do worse than what we have done to you tonight."Esther then hugged Charles's arm and gave her final word to Tyler, "I rather be the girlfriend of the Don of Townsville than to ever be with a worm like you!"The Phoenix Mafia looked at Esther, amused at her comment. They exited the Sparrow Lounge, leaving Tyler on the floor, still anguishing in pain."Guys, make sure your bags are already packed. We are leaving for Brighton first thing in the morning. I have arranged for transport for you guys to meet directly at our new private jet." said CharleSun rays greeted the Phoenix Cabin as the residents there assembled outside the garage, bags packed and ready for what could probably be a rare occasion. Charles and Esther were going on a vacation along with the rest of the Phoenix Mafia. "I'm really excited to take this flight. My first ever flight out of Townsville." said Esther. "I'm sure you're excited. I can already imagine you and the Phoenix Mafia letting loose like it's the year 1999. I'm excited too. My first time in a private jet." replied Charles. Just then, a Rolls Royce pulled over in front of Charles and Esther. The driver stepped out. It was Hector. "Good morning, Charles. Good morning, Esther." greeted Hector. "Good to see you both up and early. Ready for your flight?" "Absolutely, Hector. I'm chomping at the bit, so is Esther" Charles replied cheekily, while Esther looked at him with a smile. "Oh, before I forget, Mr. Quinton wanted me to pass this to you." sai
A row of Rolls Royces pulled up alongside the private jet; as the door to the private jet opened and the stairs unfolded. The Phoenix Mafia was lining up in the jet in anticipation of stepping foot on foreign land. Before alighting the jet, Charles made it a point to pin his brooch on his blazer so that everyone who has previously heard about the Don of Townsville will recognise him as such. Jim was standing a few metres away from the jet door as it opened. He opened his arms in a gesture to welcome the Phoenix Mafia, knowing for the majority of the team, it was their first flight and first time outside of Townsville. "Phoenix Mafia! Welcome to London!" greeted Jim. "Jim! Good to see you!" the team walked towards Jim and hugged him individually. "Too bad you were not with us last night, Jim. You missed one hell of an event." said Victoria. "Sounds like you all had a fun night last night." replied Jim. "Oh, you can say
As soon as the notification sounds from all the phones in the reception of the Quinton Hotel stopped, chiming, every person in the hotel went in to check out their news feed on the various social media platforms. All the guests and staff looked in shock as the news feed exposed Gary's underground antics. Some people were appalled by the scenes unfolding on their screen. Gary himself looked at his phone and soon went pale. He could not believe that his underground antics were exposed to the social network for all the world, much less Brighton, to see. Enraged, Gary looked up and around and could see the eyes around him staring at him like daggers. If looks could kill, Gary would have been reduced to minced meat. "Wait....wait... the person in the clip was not me! It was not me!!" Gary denied vehemently, sweating profusely. "Oh really? Then let's shed some more light into the situation, shall we?" Ivy sneered. She then screen-mirr
Charles entered his Presidential Suite after the Phoenix Mafia entered their rooms. Closing the door, Charles could finally remove his mask, shades and cap. The Presidential Suite at the Quinton Hotel Brighton was amazing. The suite was like a luxurious one room apartment. There was a living room with a full leather couch set, a sixty five inch television mounted on the wall, a big coffee table, a bar counter filled with bottles of red wine, white wine and champagne. A sliding door divided the living room and the bedroom of the suite, where a king size bed awaited for Charles. He jumped on the bed to relax, while watching football on the fifty five inch television on the wall.Ten minutes later, Charles decided to take a bath. The marbled bathroom, with a full size bathtub a double sink and a shower was the best place for Charles to unwind.Soaking in the bathtub was just soothing to Charles; and he had time to reflect his journey so far after t
'Mr. C.... Mr. C... that's what he said to Irene. Mr. C... oh, no way. No Way!!' Lois suddenly figured it out, even if she was not exactly sure."Charles?!?!?"The connection was too coincidental and too much for Lois to take. She immediately rushed to her management office and called for her husband Dave and son Mason into her office."Mum, what's going on? You sounded like you were out of breath when you called us in." said Mason as he and Dave entered Lois's office."You seem out of sorts right now, honey? Are you OK?" asked Dave."No....I'm not OK....and you won't be either after you hear what I have to say next." replied Lois. "Mason, do you remember the group of people who defended our cleaner earlier today?""How could I forget, mum? They are really great people." replied Mason."Well, do you know who was the leader of that group? You know, the one wearing a mask, shades and a cap?" Loi
In the Rolls Royce, Jim, Keith, Nathan and Victoria were on their way to the Parker residence in Portsmouth. All four were focused on the task at hand. Perhaps a tad too focused. Victoria, feeling the tense atmosphere, attempted to lighten the mood before they reach the Parker residence. "Guys, we still have half an hour before we reach our destination. Relax a little, will ya." said Victoria. "Besides, I wonder what Esther and boss are doing now." Jim smirked when he heard that question. "Seriously, Victoria? You think that our boss and Esther are dating?" Keith quickly rebutted Jim's question, "Oh man, Jim. If only you were with us at Sparrow Lounge last night. You should have heard what Esther said about boss." "Oh yeah, now that you mentioned it, Keith, what exactly happened last night? Boss didn't really divulge any details about it. All I know was it involved Esther." replied Jim. Victoria took the time to r
Just before the virtual conference was about to begin, Ivy entered the suite with the trolley of gift baskets, "They're clean, boss. No mics or cameras on the gift baskets or the trolleys. So nice of the hotel staff to give these gifts to us." said Ivy. "Yeah, put that aside for now. We are about to start. Get our connections running, Ivy." replied Charles. "Yes, boss. Connection is established. We are now waiting for the other side." said Ivy. Meanwhile, in the Parker residence's study, Jensen and Patricia Parker are seated facing the laptop set up by Jim. Per Ivy's instructions over their earpieces, Victoria was able to make the connection and the Parkers were online. Jensen and Patricia saw a suave looking man on the screen seated facing them with a pair of shades on. He was well dressed with a three piece suit, his hair in a clean and neat side parting. Seated next to him was a beautiful lady in a purple dress, supposedly his girlfriend. Standing
Chris, the hotel staff that sent the trolley of complimentary gift baskets to the Phoenix Mafia soon returned to the outside of the Presidential Suite to collect the empty trolley. Internally disappointed that there was no information to be retrieved out of the Phoenix Mafia, he took the trolley that was outside the door and pushed it back to the main hotel reception.Mason, who was waiting for Chris to report to him, saw the staff approach from the elevator. He then approached the hotel staff to hear his report."Sorry, Mr. Mason. I was not able to get any information out of that group. As a result, I could not expose the real identity of Mr. C." Chris reported."Damn, I knew we should have put in some bug mics and cameras." Mason cursed under his breath, "It's ok. Not your fault. I should have thought of bug mics and cams.""That would not help either, Mr. Mason. They have a tech expert that scrutinised the trolley and the gift b

The cameras were flashing as journalists and reporters gathered at the eagerly anticipated launch of the new mall in Townsville, specifically located near the Townsville Hillside Condo. Standing in front of the main entrance, Desmond and Jocelyn faced the crowd. Desmond then took the mic to address the crowd, "After months of construction, through reported ups and downs, we are happy to announce, on behalf of the Quinton Consortium, the officially opening of Townsville Hillside Mall." said Desmond. He then took his side next to Jocelyn and proceeded to perform the cutting of the ribbon, signalling that the Townsville Hillside Mall was officially opened. Applause rang all around the front as Desmond and Jocelyn opened the front entrance doors, welcoming the crowd into the mall. In another corner of Townsville, Wayne and Kimberly were also dressed sharply; but for a different reason. Joining them were Roland and Elaine Russo, as all four of them stood in front of the main entrance t
"Brother Derek, are you sure about this?" asked Charles as he looked at himself in the mirror. He was wearing a tuxedo; but not any ordinary tuxedo. Derek had Charles wear his diamond encrusted tuxedo, the most expensive tuxedo he bought from Nick Lopez when he first found out he was a Quinton. "I'm sure about it, Charles. I know I bought it for me initially; but in all honesty, you wearing this tux means so much more." Derek reassured Charles. "Man, I'm nervous. Brother, how did you even go through your wedding with Ms. Amanda?" asked Charles exasperately. "Desmond told me to take a deep breath to calm my nerves. It could work for you, too." replied Derek. Charles decided to take Derek's advice and took two deep breaths. Surprisingly, he felt much calmer. Then he and Derek heard a knock on the door. In walked Mason, "Brother, are you ready?" asked Mason. "As ready as I'll ever be." replied Charles. All three of them then walked upstairs... to the top deck of Charles's superyach
The prison gate key entered the lock. With a click, the warden opened the cell gate, with mixed emotions. "Madam Louise... it's time." In her cell, Madam Louise looked around the jail cell she had been living in, serving her time for her past wrongs. She thought about the time she spent in the cell, forming a close friendship with the warden, being released early to help Team Quinton and the Phoenix Mafia, eventually being a key player in the fight against Pamela. It was a sad day to leave her family after the fight ended; but heading back to prison was necessary. Thanks to Lea Quinton, however, she did not have to stay in prison any longer. She received a pardon from the Mayor of Townsville; and now, she can leave the Townsville prison freely. She slowly stood up and walked towards the cell door, where she noticed her warden friend had a tear in his eye. Smiling slightly, she wiped the tear away from his eye. "No need to weep for me, young man. We will meet again, outside of t
With the mask worn on his face; and the briefcase full of cash repacked into a duffel bag found in the control room, Charles slung the bag over his shoulder, ready to move out of Pamela's HQ. Before heading out, Charles made sure to surround himself in a nanoshield sphere to avoid any sudden sneak attacks. After which, Charles used his upgraded suit to do a thorough scan, looking to devise an alternate way out of Pamela's HQ. 'Hmmm... it looks like I'm going to have to blast my way out of here. Time to check out what weapons are at my disposal.' Charles thought to himself. Scanning the system in his suit through his mask, Charles was surprised to find various forms of weaponry to pave his way out. "Well then, let's get started." Charles said to himself. However, as we was about to step out of Pamela's control room, an alarm sounded inside of the control room. Red emergency lights were flickering in the control room. Charles turned his direction to one of the screens in the control
"Gerard! Andrea! You certainly have some guts showing your faces here after you betrayed me!" Pamela sneered at the couple. "Lady Boss... wait! We did not betray you." Gerard defended himself. "That's right, Lady Boss! The hostages... they escaped!!" shouted Andrea. "WHAT?!?!?" Pamela shouted angrily. She then turned her attention to Charles, who was standing there, perplexed. "Charles!! You were at the dungeon earlier. You said you saw your team in their cells. Is that true?!?" Pamela asked authoritatively. "Absolutely, Lady Boss. I personally locked up the dungeon after making sure that loser Derek was in his cell." replied Charles. "He's lying, Lady Boss. Charles must still be working with his friends. Somehow, they managed to get their suits from the lab and escape from this place." Gerard said accusingly, pointing at Charles at the same time. "Hold on there, Gerard. Up until just now, when Lady Boss showed me her lab, I did not even know that existed." Charles defended hims
"You tell me, Charles. How did you and that loser escape in the first place?" Pamela asked suspiciously. Charles was calm in his answer, "Well, I found a couple of metal pins in my cell and I used it to pick my cell lock." Charles began. "Once I got free, that's where I hatched my plan. I picked the lock of Derek's cell. I had to convince him that he and I were on the same team in taking you out. So, while the rest were in their cells, which, by the way, they still are, Derek and I made our way out of the dungeon." explained Charles. "Well, you certainly have some talent, unlike that loser. Still, Gerard and Andrea not reporting back is concerning for me." replied Pamela. As she looked at the monitors of the control room, she noticed something peculiar, then she started frowning. "What's wrong, Lady Boss?" asked Charles. "Take a look at that." said Pamela, pointing Charles's attention to one of the monitors surveying the lab. "What about it, Lady Boss?" asked Charles curiously. "C
Before Charles could answer, they heard footsteps approaching the dungeon. Derek passed Gerard's dungeon keys to Charles before he cloaked himself again. In order to play along with Pamela's ploy, Charles quickly opened the dungeon door, placed Victoria gently inside before locking the door again. The footsteps grew audibly closer towards the dungeon door. Charles turned his attention towards the sound of those footsteps and walked in that direction, taking caution to who he might run into. As he turned around the corner, he found out who those footsteps belong to. "Oh my gosh, Esther. What are you doing here?" Charles exclaimed softly as he embraced his girlfriend. "Wait, you shouldn't be here. Didn't Mr. Quinton give you and the rest the order to head to the safehouse?" asked Charles. "I had to come here. I was not going to let that b***h Pamela take you." replied Esther emotionally. Just then, Derek decloaked himself and met up with Charles and Esther. "Esther, so it was you. G
"Ok, Charles, the feed is on." said Pamela. "Take your position, on Derek's right side." "Understood, Lady Boss." replied Charles. Seconds later, everyone, including the people in the Phoenix Bunker, the safehouse and the combined invasion and rescue team saw the live feed on their screens. "Your eyes do not deceive you, Peter. Charles has betrayed you. He has decided to join a real mafia and I will nurture him properly, so he can be a real Don." began Pamela. "As you can see, I have your son as hostage. If you ever want to see Derek again, in one piece and alive, firstly, call off your attack dogs. Secondly, you will, and I mean WILL, surrender your precious Quinton Consortium to me. Oh, before I forget, that includes your so-called Phoenix Mafia as well." "And just in case you think I'm not being serious... " Pamela then did something no one expected. She pressed a button on her control panel; and in the next moment, Ivy's suit emerged from a corner of her control room. 'What th
