Luxiana Sommeris

Damien stared at me for a long moment, his piercing eyes unreadable, before finally moving closer.

He approached quietly, draping a soft robe over my shoulders. The warmth of his hands brushed against my waist, steady and reassuring, as he gently guided me toward the bathroom.

The room was dimly lit, the shadows stretching like silent witnesses to our unspoken thoughts. Once inside, he reached for the bathtub, turning the knobs until water began to flow steadily.

The sound of running water filled the silence, creating a small cocoon of calm between us. Without a word, Damien summoned a flickering flame in his hand, its golden glow casting an ethereal light across his sharp features.

He directed the flame toward the water, warming it with effortless precision. “Get in,” he said softly, his voice low but commanding. “I’ve heated it for you.”

He paused, his gaze fixed on the rippling water. “You need to wash the dirt, scrapes, and bruises on your body,” he continued,

Lilith“Fire? Most of my incubi and succubi can’t conjure fire anymore. Are you seriously trying to turn me against my people?” My voice was cold, but my teeth clenched tightly, betraying the tension boiling beneath my composed facade. “It’s best that you leave now.”I stepped forward, the sharp sound of my heels echoing against the stone floor. “Who knows? Maybe your victim’s light was powerful enough to defeat your walkers,” I added, my fists curling so tightly that my nails bit into my palms.Morpheus didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he hovered in place, silent and unnervingly still. For the first time in ages, I allowed myself to look at him truly. His form now carried the weight of time and wear. His face was pale and sunken, and terrifying.Yet, he still clung to that tattered, threadbare cloak, its frayed edges fluttering gently as he floated mid-air.“If this is the case,” he finally said, his voice low and sharp like a dagger unsheathing, “my people will continue investi

Luxiana SommerisHis confession hit me like a tidal wave, surging through my chest and leaving me breathless. For a moment, the room seemed to blur around us.I stared, trying to process the weight of his words, the depth of his vulnerability. As his friend—or perhaps, only his co-worker—I had never imagined my presence, let alone my…abilities, could provoke something so raw within him.I glanced down at my hands, tracing the faint lines of my palm before my eyes landed on the small necklace resting against my collarbone. My fingers curled around it instinctively, seeking an anchor, a moment of clarity before I lifted my gaze to meet his again.Anton ran a hand through his disheveled hair, the movement almost desperate, a dry laugh escaping his lips. It was a hollow sound, devoid of the lightness I was so used to hearing. “I know what I’ve been doing is foolish,” he admitted, his voice laced with a bitter edge. “Honestly, I’m not even sure why I thought it would help me forget her.”

But she was always… worried about something. I didn’t understand it then, but now…”Margaret trailed off, her expression clouded. When she finally spoke again, her words sent a shiver down my spine. “Before she passed, she asked me to watch over you. She told me to look after you, especially if—if you ever started acting suspiciously,” she added.“Suspiciously?” I repeated, my brow furrowing. “What’s that supposed to mean?”Her gaze met mine, and in her eyes, I saw a mix of apprehension and something deeper—something she wasn’t ready to say out loud. “I don’t know,” she admitted softly. “But she made me promise, and your grandmother never asked for anything without a reason.”A chill crept over me, and I clutched the necklace around my neck, its weight suddenly heavier than ever. “Have you been well, Xiana? Luxiana SommerisMy heart, frantic just moments before, seemed to exhale with relief. Those stormy blue eyes met mine, their depth and intensity a familiar comfort. It felt like the world had stopped spinning for a moment, allowing me to gather myself in his gaze.“Xiana, why the hell are you crying?” Damien’s voice broke the silence, low and tinged with irritation, yet carrying a trace of warmth beneath the gruffness.I blinked, startled by his words, and wiped at my tear-streaked face, embarrassment creeping in. But the relief of seeing him awake, alive, and speaking overpowered everything else.“What else? You were unconscious—I thought you were dead.” My voice wavered as I averted my gaze, trying desperately to maintain my composure.Damien grunted as he lowered himself to the floor, attempting to meet my eyes. His lips curled into a wry smile. “Weeds don’t die that easily.”I crossed my arms, trying to keep my tone firm. “You just casually admitted you’re ruthless, Damien.”“And

Luxiana SommerisHonestly, I felt nervous at my boldness, but it didn’t spiral into panic. After all, I was still wearing my underwear, a flimsy barrier that somehow reassured me.I couldn’t help but wonder what he planned to do to make me feel him even more deeply, beyond the gentle touch of my hands against his skin. My curiosity burned brighter than my nervousness, and I found myself wanting—no, craving—more. Was I too aroused to think rationally? Perhaps. My thoughts were clouded, my body begging for something my body was craving.I closed my eyes, surrendering to the moment as I felt him undress completely, leaving no barriers between us save for the thin fabric of my underwear. Slowly, deliberately, he pressed his hardness against me, the sensation unmistakable. A soft moan escaped my lips as his tip brushed against my hidden core, and my entire body reacted. The feeling was electric, unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. Butterflies erupted wildly in my stomach, and t

Luxiana SommerisWhen I arrived at work, the atmosphere buzzed with concern as my colleagues approached me individually, asking how I was doing. Their genuine worry was almost overwhelming but, oddly enough, refreshing. I didn’t often feel so seen and cared for, even if it stemmed from their curiosity about what had happened to me.Despite their attentiveness, my thoughts circled back to Damien's warning about my powers awakening. He had been right. Every time someone so much as brushed against me—whether it was an accidental nudge or a fleeting touch—I glimpsed pieces of their inner turmoil. It was like watching fragments of storms swirling within them, each person carrying a burden I hadn’t been prepared to witness.Everyone had their struggles, their unseen battles. But the question gnawed at me: was it my responsibility to intervene? Could I really carry the weight of everyone’s pain, or was I doomed to simply observe it without a clue of what to do?I sighed, pushing the thou

Luxiana SommerisAn Oneiromancer. The word echoed in my mind like a bell tolling in an empty cathedral, filling the void left by unanswered questions. My great-grandmother had wielded this power—a responsibility as much as a gift—and now it was passed to me.Despite finding so many answered questions, new questions arose: Why was it so crucial that Morpheus never find out? With a sigh, I closed the journal, the leather cover cool against my palms, and rubbed my temples to soothe the growing ache in my head. The revelations were overwhelming, piling up like a storm cloud over my thoughts. All I knew for certain was this: my grandmother had not been a wielder. Her mother was the last. Did that mean my parents weren’t either? Could it be that she’d kept this from me because she thought it would never resurface? That the gift—or curse—would skip me altogether? What had happened to her mother? And wasn’t aging supposed to halt once someone became an Oneiromancer? I read that in a book

It felt like he was trying to push me to the brink.“I’m going to release it in your mouth,” he whispered, his breath hot against my skin. Just as he said, he stopped for a moment, and I felt the warmth of his release filling my mouth. He wasn’t done yet, but he seemed eager to see me swallow, the excess liquid dripping from my mouth.“You look so damn hot,” Damien murmured, dark desire lacing his words. “Come here, I’m going to please you.”I should have felt scared by his intensity, but all I could feel was the raw need pulsing through me. I wanted to feel that release too, and I knew he could help me.I glanced at him, his thing still hard, still ready. How was that possible after everything? Luxiana SommerisAfter drinking from the cool, rushing river, a wave of exhaustion washed over me so heavily that I decided to set up camp nearby, letting the gentle murmur of the water soothe my weary senses. As I sat alone beneath the twilight sky, the fire crackling softly beside me, my thoughts spiraled into a restless haze, each clinging to the next as I tried desperately to anchor myself in some semblance of calm.If Morpheus had taken Damien, I was certain I would have felt it—some thread between us tugging, snapping, crying out—but the silence was deafening. Could it be that those who took him were not of Morpheus’ kind at all? What if... the grim reapers had come for him instead? The thought struck me with a cold, paralyzing dread. Lying within the thin walls of my makeshift tent, I stared at the fabric ceiling, my heart pounding louder than the night sounds beyond. Damien could hold his own against nearly anyone, but when it came to the reapers... it was a different game e

Luxiana SommerisAfter the incubus delivered his cryptic message, he vanished into thin air, leaving nothing but unsettling silence. I stood there, rooted in place, unsure of how to process what he had said—unsure of what I was supposed to feel.“For some reason… I don’t want to continue this journey anymore,” Damien murmured with a bitter laugh that held no real amusement. His voice pulled my attention upward, and I found him looking off into the distance, his expression tight with worry.“We don’t have that luxury, Damien,” I replied, my voice steady and resolute despite the turmoil churning inside me. “I have a responsibility to protect both the dream realm and the waking world. I’m the only one who can.”His eyes met mine then, dark and stormy with concern. “But going back there means risking your life,” he said, each word heavy with truth. “If Morpheus really wants you, he’ll find a way to take you. He’s done it before, and now… now he’s stronger, more prepared. You know that.”

Luxiana SommerisThe first light of morning filtered through the seams of the canvas tent, casting a soft golden glow that kissed the curves of our tangled bodies. I stirred first, my eyes fluttering open to the quiet rustling of leaves outside and the low hum of a world slowly waking up. The fire had long since died out, leaving behind the faint scent of smoke and warm skin from shared heat.I shifted slightly, muscles sore in the most satisfying way, and felt Damien’s arms instinctively tighten around me. He was still asleep, lashes resting gently on his cheeks. His hold was protective, possessive in a way that didn’t suffocate—but comforted, like a promise unspoken.I smiled faintly, running my fingers lightly down his back, tracing the fine lines of old scars and new warmth. His skin was hot beneath my touch, his heartbeat steady beneath my palm, grounding me in a reality that still felt like a dream.“You’re awake,” he murmured, voice rough with sleep, eyes still half-closed bu

Luxiana Sommeris“We’ll camp here for the night,” Damien announced after finding a dark cave nestled between two jagged cliffs, its mouth yawning like an endless void. Shadows curled inward, and the further I looked, the more it seemed to stretch forever, as if it led to another world entirely.I glanced around, half-expecting a bear to lumber out from the darkness. The sky beyond the cave was painted in soft shades of pink salmon, slowly fading into lavender as dusk settled. Tiny stars began to blink into view, scattered like diamonds across a deepening canvas.“You can use your power to make a fire,” Damien said, his voice steady as he turned toward the cave’s entrance. “I’ll go gather some firewood.”“No need,” I replied, lifting my hand. “I can summon both the fire and the wood right here. Just stay with me.” I snapped my fingers, and just like that, a gentle flame flickered to life, dancing warmly in the growing chill of evening. He was always right—it really was easier when I

Luxiana SommerisThe moment our eyes fluttered open, reality returned in a soft, quiet rush. The dreamscape faded into the background like mist at dawn, leaving only the stillness of the waking realm. I blinked slowly, grounding myself in my room's familiar surroundings—dimly lit, the air cool and still, and humming faintly with energy. The protective sigils embedded in the walls shimmered for a brief second, reacting to our presence before settling once more into silence.“I’m really back in the waking realm,” Damien muttered under his breath, taking a cautious step forward. His eyes roamed over every corner of the room, calculating and observant. “Whoa… This place has a very distinct kind of barrier. It's not just protective—it's layered. Personalized. Was this your doing?”I nodded, unable to stop the smile tugging at my lips. There was something oddly satisfying in hearing him notice the effort I had put into securing my space. “Yes, I set it up myself,” I replied, my tone lig

The others lunged forward, clawing at the space between us with silent screams, their mouths gaping in distorted fury.I barely dodged in time—one claw scraped across my shoulder, a sudden, searing sting that made the vision in my right eye blur and flicker. But I didn’t hesitate. I countered with another incantation, this one more intricate and delicate, like tracing a sigil into the very air with trembling fingers and unshaken will. The second Walker halted, frozen mid-motion, trapped in a loop of its own making. It began to unravel from within, consumed by the very nightmare it had once fed upon. Its form collapsed inward, swallowed by an echo of its creation. But the last one came faster and smarter. It didn’t strike with claws or fangs. Instead, it reached for my mind, dragging me into a conjured illusion so vivid it felt like reali

Watching both of you.” She paused then, as if weighing her next words with great care. When she spoke again, each syllable dropped like a stone. “Someday, you two will have to part. Do you think you’ll be able to accept that?”We... have to?The question lodged in my chest like a thorn, buried deep and aching, unmoving. I parted my lips, trying to form words, trying to respond, but nothing came out. My voice had abandoned me.I couldn’t say

It whispered secrets I wasn’t ready to hear, murmuring truths only the night could carry. The remnants of my dream clung to me like a second skin—cold, damp, and far too real. No warmth in the waking world could chase away the chill it left behind. Damien stood quietly at the edge of the room, his broad shoulders tense, his jaw tight. He didn’t have to say anything for me to know he felt it too—that strange pull in the atmosphere, the subtle shift that warned of danger ahead.“You’re sure about this?” he asked again, his voice a low rumble, edged with dread.“I have to be,” I murmured, fingers tightening around the heavy cloak wrapped around my shoulders.
