CHAPTER 20:NICE TO MEET YOU AMELIA

Stepping out of the car, each step she took further towards the front door sucked out her confidence and will. She was more tensed that ever when she finally got to the front door and pressed the door bell. Locking her fingers in each other to distract herself from the anxiety willing up in her, she waited for someone to answer the door. After what seemed like forever, the door finally opened and showed a woman in her early sixties.

“Good morning ma’am .My name is Amelia and I’m Mr Nelson’s new personal assistant and he told me to come in today” Amie introduced herself with a shaky voice.

“Ah, yes, he’s been expecting you. Nice to meet you, I’m Mariam, the head cook. Come on in Miss Amelia” Mariam said.

“Thank you ma’am, please call me Amelia” Amie said respectfully.

“Alright Amelia, take the stair case on the left to the second floor then take your right walk down the hallway, the first door you see that’s the study room. Mr Nelson is in there” Mariam said as she took the door on the
