Worth the Risk?

Guilt was one emotion that Jade wasn't accustomed to. It wasn't that she lacked the ability to feel guilty for an offence she had committed; far from it. She always preferred to avoid situations that would make her err and consequently feel guilty.

It occurred to her then, that she had done exactly the same thing she had accused him of when they first met.
