Jade hummed to the music playing in her mind as she made her way down the stairs, caressing the newly polished banister. 

Everywhere smelt of cleaning agents laced with air freshener; it was obvious that the house had just been tended to a few hours before.

After their rendezvous, they had gone to the bathroom and soaked themselves in the bathtub, talking for long long duration of time, hunger finally being the awakener that drove them out of the comfortable space.
