Ella's POVWhen Megan arrived with the health personnel, they took the waitress to the hospital. Megan and I took a cab and drove to the hospital. We stood in the waiting section anxiously. We both were panicked, as the waitress with whom we had so high hope was admitted to the hospital and the biggest thing was there was very little chance of her survival. She was only the person, who could assist us to reach the culprit. I prayed for her survival. When the doctor appeared out of the emergency room, we hurried towards him."How... How is she, doctor?" I was first to interrogate. The doctor first peeled off the mask from his face, uncovering his upset expression, and replied, "she is no more, we couldn't save her. She lost an excessive amount of blood and couldn't survive."I took a step back feeling numb. The only hope that could lead me to the culprit was proclaimed deceased. My mind only one thought that moment, "How was I supposed to get the culprit now?"Soon the policemen arrived
Ella's POV"Mayalu, please wake up. Mayalu look at me." Far at the distance, I was hearing Aviv's cracked voice. I was hearing him sobbing. I was even hearing his tears streaming down his eyes and suddenly I felt my hand wet.I slowly opened my eyes and glanced around. I saw Aviv sitting beside me lowering his head and sobbing. His tears were dropping down on my hands. "Av..." I called out in a weak voice. Aviv hastily raised his head and glanced at me with eyes full of tears. He instantly held me up and hugged me tightly."I am really very sorry MAYALU. I will never ever shout at you. It's all my fault. I am sorry please don't you ever go leaving me alone," he said in a quivering voice.I was feeling his words going straight to my heart.Since childhood, he was very emotional and sensitive. And this had still not changed. He was very afraid of losing people, possibly because of being an orphan, like me. I thought that he had got a family so he might have changed but no he wasn't. H
Ella's POVWhen the car came to halt, I glanced around and was surprised to catch a glimpse of an Italian restaurant, where I have never been before. My curiosity was increasing, as Aviv had not revealed why we were there.I was fade up asking him about the purpose of our visit, as he was not answering it. So this time I thought better not to ask anything and just follow him.Whatever purpose or reason was behind our visit, it was soon going to reveal. So, I just needed to have some patience.I followed him inside the restaurant and found out that the restaurant was a little crowded. I saw all the tables were reserved."Was we going to meet someone and he\she was already in one of these tables?" I thought deep inside. But Aviv began to walk to the stairs. I followed him and he got to the second floor of the restaurant where there were several private cubicles. He walked to the last cubicle and got inside. I too walked in with him, hoping that my curiosity was coming to an end but to my
Ella's POVWhen she left, my eyes fall on the envelope. I held the envelope and took out the paper from it. I glanced at the paper and I felt like lightning striking me. It was a DNA test report which stated that Becca and Mrs. Royal negative DNA reports. What more shocking was my and Mrs. Royal's DNA report was positive.Which meant, whatever Aviv was saying Mrs. Royal was not fake. It was all real. Becca was sure, not her daughter. Instead, I was likely to be her daughter.I glanced at Aviv in shock and implored, "How did you get this report?""Getting the sample from you was not difficult but for Becca, I had to create some drama and hug her to get her hair sample. But my bad luck my Mayalu saw and she misunderstood." "Anyway, let's not talk about that and tell me how did you manage to get the sample from Mrs. Royal?" I inquired."I got her blood sample when she donated blood last month" he answered back."So what do you think? What might have happened?" I questioned."Well doing
Ella's POVWhen we got out of the car, I discovered that we were in the pub. Chills ran through my body and I felt my steps heavy. It was my second time in the pub. And as a matter of fact, my first time in Pub was horrible. I had determined not to visit the pub after that incident. But today I was compelled to come here, all because of Aviv, and thanks to him that I was already shivering with anxiety. But still, I managed to go inside. The pub was entirely different from the first pub I had visited. It was all decorated in red and black decorations. It was not that noisy and people were also few. I stood at the entrance feeling numb."Aviv..." I called out.Aviv instructed, "Erik you go and inform the clients, that I will be there in a minute." Aviv approached me and started to convince me, "Don't let yourself feel weak Ella. You know very well it's time to stay strong." "I know Aviv but I am still not able to come out of that horrible memories. I can't do this.." I twirled around
Ella's POVI got down from the car and ran straight to my room. I slammed the door hard behind me and leaning my back on the door, I thought about the things told by Erik.I was so heartbroken facing the truth, that it was my mother who didn't let me live a happy life with my foster parents. If she hadn't stopped me from being adopted, then I would be living a happy life with my foster parents. I was so upset about the things she did. Tears streamed down my eyes.Suddenly, someone knocked on my door. I wiped my tears hastily, cleared my throat, and pretending to be okay, I opened the door.Aviv who was standing by the door, walked inside, pulling my wrist."Sit here and listen to this," he said, shoving me on the bed.He then opened the envelope which I had given him in
Ella's POV"Don't tell me that there is no maid in Aviv's mansion. Wait, a second let me guess, Aviv probably must have given you the post of Maid. Am I right?" Becca mocked, with a sinister smile on her face."Becca, Manners!" Mrs Royal steeped ahead, glaring at her.Rolling her eyes, Becca muttered, "Just kidding mom.""Still you owe an apology to her," she argued."No, it's alright, Mrs.Royal," I mumbled."See, she don't want me to an apology." Becca shrugged."I apologise heartily from her side, my dear. My daughter inhabited in abroad for long. Presumably, she has failed to keep traces on some of her manners," Mrs.Royal said, glancing at me.Her calm nature made me doubt that she might not be the person who wrote that letter. When she quoted "My daughter" I felt a sharp needle piercing my heart."Mom, you don't need to be that polite to an orphan," Becca retorted, in disappointment. When Becca cal
Aviv's POVWhen Becca and Mrs. Royal left the house, Ella ran towards me and hugged me tightly.“Can you believe it Av? I just hugged my mom. Wow! I really cannot describe how ecstatic I am.” Draping my hands around her waist, I spun around. She shouted out of happiness. I have never seen her that happy ever before. I wished if I could keep her happy, her whole life. When Erik cleared his throat, I hurriedly put down Ella. We passed a glance at each other for a while, suddenly we burst into laughter.“Seriously, Av credit must be given to you. I know without you, it was not possible,” she mumbled.I bowed a little and said, “Thank you, but I must say, I was suffocating staying with Becca. You won't believe what she w
Ella’s POV“Lucas, are you done? Hurry up or else we will get late,” I called out knocking on the door.“Yes, coming,” he replied and in a short while the door opened revealing my handsome twenty-five years old son Lucas.“Oh! My godbrother you are looking so handsome,” Mini my sixteen years old daughter said from behind me.“What do you say, Maggie?” she asked her twin sister Maggie.Maggie scanned him top to bottom and rolling her eyes said, “uh! Satisfactory.”“Come on, Maggie don’t be so mean. It’s his wedding day,” Mini said in annoyance.“I am just kidding you look so good, brother,” said Maggie and ran towards her brother to hug him.“No, no not my arms,” Mini said and jumped into his left arms.Lucas hugged them both and said, “thank you, my cute sisters. You both are also looking beautiful.”“Hug him as much as you want,” I said chuckling, trying to barge into their conversation.“Hm, what does that mean?’ questioned Mini looking at me.“He is going to get married today, so of

Aviv's POV“Don’t remind me of that day, Garry. I really hate those moments when I was suffering in that prison, all because of that Ella…” Becca muttered.“If only she had not killed my mother, she would at least be spared but she crossed all her limits. So I had to give the taste of what she did with me. Now I have sent her to the place where she can never come back,” Garry said clutching the glass tight.‘So, this was it. I wondered why Garry was taking help from the one who murdered his mother. Becca had lied to him saying Ella killed her. Very well she played,’ I thought inside.“But I must say, I really enjoyed pressing that button. I wanted to see them turning into pieces but unfortunately, I couldn’t risk going near their Mansion and just entertained myself by clicking the button,” Becca said.Anger simmered inside hearing her and blood boiled up. It was her the reason behind the blast at my house. It was time for them to pay for the deeds they had done. “How dare you try to h
Aviv’s POV“Hello, young master,” Mary answered the call in two rings.
Aviv’s POVEarly morning we landed on L.A and walked towards our mission to find Ella.“So, where do we start?” questioned James getting on the cab.I slipped inside the cab and thought for a while.“We should start from hospital, I guess,” I replied solemnly.“Yeah, we can start there,” Erik agreed. We drove to the hospital right after that.“Have you seen this woman?” I questioned the receptionist showing her the picture of Ella. She glanced at the picture carefully and said, “isn't she the one who lost her baby?”“Yeah…” I hurriedly nodded my head.“A day before she came and was asking if she could check the CCTV footage,” she replied.“And?”“I couldn’t let her do that as we couldn’t let her check it without our boss's permission and he was out of town when she was here,” she replied."A lady lost her child in your hospital and you didn't let her check the CCTV?" I was losing my mind."That is how it works here sir," she replied."Great, you don't care what the patience faces in yo
Aviv’s POVAll this time I trusted both Ella and Erik. I didn't know they would this easily forgive the one who did so wrong to her. How can she be this easy-going?As I was lost in thought, I heard the door opening and someone walking inside. I closed my heart and gulped hard.Trying best to not vent my anger on anyone, I said, “I don’t want to hear anything, Erik. You better leave yourself or else I will not regret chasing you away.”
Aviv’s POV“What am I going to tell Ella? How will I explain this to her? I was supposed to protect our child but I failed. Not just child I was supposed to save my family, Erik and Mary they were my family. Now they are gone, Ella is also gone how am I going to survive?”I watched my home falling into ash, in which the ash of my family was also mixed. I wanted to catch those ash and keep it with me. I stood on my feet and tried to collect the ashes on my hands but no matter how hard I tried to catch, I was not able to collect any of them.
