Completely broken

After the game,

  Cammy goes into the locker room to take a bath and freshen up,she felt refreshed after the game,she hadn’t played a game that thrilling and competitive in months.

  

  She felt an immense amount of butterflies when Jake hugged her suddenly.

she was so surprised her body stood there like a log of wood,she couldn’t move,it was like her whole world stopped.

She was enveloped in his warm embrace and even when she’s standing in the cold shower her body still remembers the warmth.She washed herself feeling indescribable amount of happiness.

  

  

   Alice stood at the female locker room door guarding it while Cammy took a bath. 

She had seen Jake hug Cammy and has naturally seen Cammy’s reaction,just like she felt when Cammy held her.

She could read every emotions Cammy felt at that point but they all made her sad because Cammy didn’t feel that way towards her.She could tell Cammy loves Jake a lot,So much maybe just as much as she likes Cammy.

  

    

  

      Jake enjoying the screams from the girls and seeing his fans with the cardboards and signs showing his name and photos his ego shoot up to the sky,he felt like he could do anything,he sees the group members praising Cammy after the game and approaches her as though he was excited about winning and hugs her so tight.

 He felt Cammy's body stiffened for a minute and he liked her reaction,he purposely hugged her to feel her soft body in his arms. He felt a tad bit disgusted by the sweat but her soft chest made him feel better. In that one minute long hug he felt almost every part of her body and felt good about it even though he knew he was taking advantage of her while she is oblivious to the fact.

  

  

  Jake walked towards the female locker and felt a death glare behind him,he knew almost immediately that Alice was behind him,he saw through a window and he was correct,Alice was also walking towards the locker.He acted as though he wasn’t going to the female locker room and entered the nurse room instead.

  

  Alice sees him and knew instantly what he was trying 

  to do.She decided to stand guard at the door and prevent any male from going in while Cammy gets ready.

  

  

  When Cammy is done dressing,she leaves the room and meets Alice outside waiting.

  

  ‘Alice’

  

  

  She called out to her grinning from ear to ear

  ‘You watched the match right?’

  

  

  Alice walks closer to her and tucks her hair behind her ear affectionately ,the emotions in her eyes deepened she replies

  

  ‘Of course you played well as always ,I only had my eyes on you’.

  

  

  ‘Hehehehe as expected,you always say that ‘

  

  Cammy replied as she took it as a joke.

  

  

  Jake saw from afar that Cammy was ready and approached her once again. This time he was determined to take her out on a drive and take their relationship to the next level.

  

  Alice saw him coming and knew he isn’t up to no good,she holds Cammy and told her 

  ‘Dad asked us to come early today,it’s family dinner night,let’s go.’

  

  

  Jake sees them leaving and immediately calls out to Cammy.

  ‘Hey Cammy  can I have a word with you?’

  

  

  ‘Jake. . .yeah of course ‘

  

  

  Jake holds her hand and takes her away from Alice’s,he walks five steps away from Alice and tells Cammy affectionately while making eye contact 

  

  ‘Would you like to go on a drive with me?’

  

  

  ‘Uh. . .I . . . ‘

  

  Cammy was stunned, she couldn’t bring herself to say a word. Jake is obviously satisfied with this reaction and takes the chance.He steps up his game and leans 

  Closer to her as he spoke even softer.

  

  ‘I’m having a bad day and I don’t want to be alone today,could you comfort me ? Mmh. . .Please ?’

  

  He said cutely tugging at every one of Cammy's heart strings.She couldn’t refuse him,her one and only crush is showing her the green light and if she is to ignore it she would regret it for the rest of her life.

  

  ‘Sure I will,give me a second.’

  

  

  Cammy walks up to Alice meekly and with her cute puppy  eyes that works every time pleaded with Alice to cover up for her .

  

  

  Alice was stunned ,she heard every one of their conversations but Cammy has never ever ditched a family dinner night,not even for basketball.

Cammy once had a big basketball match that could earn her lots of popularity and money but she ditched it just for dinner night. Not even in Alice's wildest dream would she ever have thought Cammy would ditch dinner night for someone she met in less than a month.

  

  

  Cammy seeing Alice didn’t reply got scared and looks up to her

   ‘Alice please just this once I promise I will be back early. . . Mmhhhhh bestieeee ‘ *inserts doe eyes*

  

  ‘En. . .okay ‘

  

  Alice replied dryly and left immediately. She was disappointed. She has never been so angry and disappointed in Cammy.Maybe she’s being like this because she knows Cammy likes Jake but still she just couldn’t accept the fact that Cammy picked Jake over her.

  She got emotional and a tear dropped ,she walked quickly so Cammy wouldn’t notice she started crying.

when she got to a corner and was sure Cammy wouldn’t see her she lost all strength in her legs and fell crying,she was shattered,broken she felt it now how it felt to lose someone you love ,how it felt to know you don’t stand a chance at all even without trying, she failed at love,miserably.

  

  

  She couldn’t think,she just wept until she got tired of crying.A hour had passed ,she got up,washed her face in the female restroom and headed for the bus.

  

  

  On her way out,she saw Cammy and Jake in his car talking.Jake held on to Cammy’s hand affectionately and he maintained eye contact. His flirting skills are top notch. Cammy on the other hand was a blushing mess,she sat there looking slightly at the floor trying to avoid eye contact while her face was as red as a tomato.

  

  Jake occasionally caresses her hands softly and it was known what he was talking about but Cammy laughs softly occasionally.

  

  Alice stood watching them for about 30 minutes,it was as though she was the only one there in her own incredibly sad and depressing world.

Seeing Cammy so happy with Jake even happier than when she’s with Alice broke Alice.

She felt so sad.

  

  The second bus arrived and she boarded it after taking a final glance at the two.
