She froze. She stared at him with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.
“Can you repeat what you said? I seem to have misheard you..”
“I said, what if I get a place of our own?”
She gasped. “So I heard it right.. Wait.. what? Why?”
He rubbed her thumb. “I want to take you to work, and pick you up after. I want to spend more time with you..”
She was shell-shocked. ‘Isn’t it too fast? Wait, is it? I know we’ve known each other for a long time and I do want to spend more time with him. But is it really okay? It’s not even a week since we became a couple.’
He didn’t hear any word from her after that.
