Heather felt heat reach her head.

She could feel the man’s gaze on her as she enjoyed every bite on her food.

‘Why is he looking at me? Geez.. it’s so awkward..’

“Ow!” In her moment of distraction, she accidentally bit her tongue. Tears welled up in her eyes.

“Are you okay?!” Nicholas came to her side immediately.

She shook her head and held up her hand. “Mn. I’m okay. I just accidentally bit my tongue.”
