Every action Adrian took was out of respect for the wealthy young man. He oozed obeisance—from his slightly bent posture to the way every word required some form of mental appraisal before Adrian could confidently verbalize it, simply because he could not risk offending him.

“Apologies, but Zayn hung up before he could give me a definite answer,” Adrian answered with a hint of reverence.
