Chapter 1943 So Naive

The thugs led Zayn to a secluded alley.

Zayn pretended to be puzzled and asked, “Aren’t you taking me to the bank? Why are we here?”

One of the thugs said with a maniacal, malicious smirk, “Hah-hah, Rheasian. Rather than depositing your money in the bank, you might as well leave it with us.”

The rest of the few thugs began to laugh out loud as well. They roared in a savage manner and began to shed all pretences of cordiality.

They had already brought Zahn to the alley, so not only were there neither passerbys nor security cameras. It was a good location for crime.

Zayn pretended to be scared and asked in astonishment, “What are you trying to do? Didn’t you say that you’d take me to the bank?”

One had no choice but to acknowledge that Zayn was a very skilled actor. He looked just like a panic-stricken ordinary man. Never mind the thugs, even master fighters could not tell that he was faking it.

He had time to spare, so he felt he may as well play along .

“Hah-hah-hah-hah…”
