I stood on the porch as I watched Haden and Ivory leave for their two week trip. My heart pained to see him go. Don't get me wrong, he's somewhat an idiot but I can't tell myself how to feel.
"Bye Aubrey," Ivory waved as she climbed into the car. Is she seriously telling me bye right now?"Bye Ivory. I hope you guys have a good time," I said through gritted teeth.I looked at Haden but he wasn't looking at me. I waited for him to tell me bye but the words never came. Then they left. Here I was standing on the porch sad, lonely and pathetic.I went back into the house and sat on the couch. I switched on the TV and flicked through the channels. I wasn't really paying attention to what was going on. My mind only wandered back to Haden. Why couldn't it be me with him? More importantly, why couldn't he apologize? The ringing of the doorbell disturbed me from my train of thought. Who could it be? Did they forget something? As I turned the doorknob and swung the door open, I found myself unexpectedly standing before a strikingly attractive man. His jet black hair perfectly complemented his captivating light blue eyes, and his lips had a soft, pink plumpness to them. He stood tall at about 6'2", which was roughly the same height as Haden."You must be Aubrey," He smiled. When he noticed my confused expression, he explained himself."I'm Vincent McKnight, Haden's bestfriend. That idiot never introduced me to you," he chuckled."Oh nice to meet you Vincent," I smiled as he took my hand and kissed it causing me to blush."Nice to meet you too. You're very beautiful. Haden is lucky," He winked cheekily and I laughed awkwardly. I'm not beautiful. Not when Ivory exists."Speaking of that idiot where is he anyway? I have some papers for him to sign." "Umm he went to run an errand. He'll be back later," I lied. I mentally slapped myself for that lame excuse."Hmph! He could have at least told me. He isn't picking up his phone. Well I'll pass back later then," He said with a soft smile."Alrighty that's no problem.""Nice meeting you again Aubs," He winked as he left.A couple minutes later the doorbell rang. It's probably Vincent again. As I cautiously opened the door, a chilling sight greeted me. A man with dirty blonde hair and dark eyes stood there, exuding an unsettling aura. His menacing smirk sent shivers down my spine, he looked no older than 30."C-Can I help you?" I stuttered. What am I even stuttering for you might ask? I'm very uncomfortable!"Yes, I'm a plumber, your husband sent me to check all the pipes," he answered."Um, I guess you can come in," I said uneasily. He's just here to do his job, I hope. I felt weird around him. I shouldn't have let him in.The man quickly walked pass me and into the house.I ran to my phone on the couch and dialed Haden's number. On the third ring he answered."Haden," I made an attempt to control my breathing."Aubrey?"" I have something to ask you.""Look whatever it is it'll have to wait because I'm kind of busy right now," he spoke coldly and ended the call.I tried calling him again but he didn't answer. I was panicking."Who are you calling baby?" The man said as he walked up to me."Y-You're n-not a plumber are you?" I stuttered and the man only smirked."Oh, no, sweetheart," he replied, his tone dripping with a mixture of charm and menace. "I'm not here to fix pipes; I'm here for something much more intriguing."My heart raced, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of danger emanating from him. I tried to maintain composure, despite the adrenaline coursing through my veins. "W-What do you want, then?" I asked, trying to steady my voice."That's for me to know and for you to find out," he said cryptically, his smirk never fading. "But trust me, you're going to enjoy this little game we're about to play."I ran upstairs but he was hot on my heel. He grabbed my leg and dragged me downstairs as I screamed in agony."Help! Somebody Help me!" I screamed with all my might.I received a sharp slap across my face, "Shut up."Tears stung from my eyes not only from the pain but I knew what he was gonna do next."You're so hot baby," he smirked and licked his lips. He undid the button on my pants."Please don't," I begged but he ignored me.He pulled down my pants which made scream. Then he removed my shirt and I was left in my undergarments. He kissed all the way down my chest and I squirmed in disgust."Help!" I screamed again only to earn another slap."Help! Help! Help Me!" I shouted on the top of my lungs. With an annoyed expression he began choking me and I started losing consciousness. Damn, this can't be it for me. I'm so stupid for letting him in."Get the fuck off her!" Was the last thing I heard before I lost my consciousness. As my eyes fluttered open, I found myself in a state of panic, my breaths coming in rapid bursts. I thrashed around on the bed, trying to make sense of my surroundings. "Calm down Aubs. You're okay," Vincent said softly.Realization dawned on me, I was in the hospital."W-wha...at?" I tried to speak but my throat was hurting badly.Vincent passed me some water which I greedily drank. With trembling lips, I mustered the courage to ask, "Vincent, did he... did he rape me?" The question hung heavily in the air as I anxiously awaited his response."No, of course not," Vincent replied firmly, his voice tinged with anger. "I stopped that bastard before he could do anything."That's it. I broke down. All the memories came flooding back.I was full out sobbing when I felt Vincent's arms around me."Hey, it's alright Aubrey," He cooed."What would have happened if you hadn't come? I would have been-" I couldn't finish the sentence."Don't think about that. I'm glad I came," He whispered as he rubbed my head gently."By the way, I called Haden," he said and I stiffened."What did he say?""Well last time I checked he was in the airport," he wore a confused frown but didn't say anything further."Oh, did you tell him what happened?""Yeah I told him what I saw.""Is he coming?" I bit my lip dreading the answer."I'm not sure. He might come," I think we both knew he wouldn't come."Okay. Why did you come back? You know, to save me and all," I changed the topic."I figured I'd just leave the papers for Haden to sign so I turned around to drop them for you. Then I heard you scream as I reached the front porch," he explained and I closed my eyes."This is all my fault. I shouldn't have let him in. I thought he was a plumber.""Its not your fault Aubrey. That guy is a sick man and he tried to trick you. The victim isn't to blame. They never are. I called the cops and reported it. Unfortunately, he got away while I came to your aid. Just be more careful next time.""I will.""Hey I gotta go Aubrey. I have to get back to work. Can I drop you home or anything?""No, I think I'll stay here a bit longer. But thank you for your offer.""Alright. Be safe. I'll see you around," Vincent said as he walked away with a small smile."You too. Bye."I stayed at the hospital for the remainder of the day and was released at night. I decided to stay at a hotel. I wasn't comfortable staying in that house all alone. I was afraid he'd come back.HadenMy mind was in a frenzy and I couldn't think straight. Some part of me was thinking about Aubrey. After Vincent told me what happened I just couldn't stop thinking about her."Haden is everything okay? You look tense." Ivory said as she sat next to me.We were still waiting on our flight and it's been two hours. Apparently the weather was bad and they kept us waiting for a few hours."Its just that some guy attempted to rape Aubrey," I muttered."What? Oh my goodness! We have to get back there immediately. And what do you mean some guy attempted to rape her. This is a serious thing Haden. Is that what you heard from talking on the phone earlier?" She questioned."Yeah," I sighed."I think we should be there for her. I think you have to be there for her," Ivory spoke as she stood."Yeah, you're right."We got in the car and drove to the hospital that Vincent told me Aubrey was in.I went to the front desk to ask for information."Hello I'm here to check up on my wife Aubrey Vanderbilt. Can you tell me which room she is in?" I flashed the woman a charming smile causing her to blush."Um sir, she checked herself out already."So, she left already."I think you should drop me home," Ivory whispered."What? Why?" I was confused by her response."I have been intruding on your life with Aubrey. If I hadn't suggested this whole vacation then that whole incident wouldn't have happened to Aubrey," She explained and I groaned."It is not your fault Ivory.""Look I just feel bad about it. Can you please just take home? I think it's for the best.""Fine," I finally gave in.I dropped her off at her house just as she requested. She walked inside and didn't spare me a second glance. Ivory is a sweet girl and I'm putting her through so much. I sighed as I pulled out of the driveway and left.I arrived home about 15 minutes later. The house was dead silent, not a single sound was heard."Aubrey," I called only to receive no response.I checked her room but she wasn't there at all. I tried calling her phone but she wasn't answering.Fuck! Where the hell is she?I decided to call Vincent instead. On the third ring he answered."Haden, what's up?""Vincent do you have any idea where Aubrey is or could be?""Isn't she at the hospital?" He questioned."If she was at the hospital would I be calling you?" I said sarcastically."How was I supposed to know? You're the one who said you didn't care about your wife." He spat and somehow that hurt. But he was right though."Alright I'm sorry okay? Can you just please help me find her?""Yeah no problem. Let's just meet up at Linda's Bakery. Then we'll start looking for her.""Sounds good. I'll meet you there in about ten minutes." I ended the call.Did she leave me? And if she did why wasn't I happy about it?I arrived at the bakery a couple minutes later and met Vincent there. "Do you know any places she likes by chance?" Vincent questioned."Umm no?" I responded awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck."Why am I not surprised?" He answered with an eyeroll."She must be at some hotel. Judging by how shaken up she was, she wouldn't want to go back home." He concluded."There are over two hundred hotels here in New York smart ass." I retorted."Then I suggest we get started."We split up and started looking for Aubrey. I had been through ten hotels but hadn't found Aubrey yet. And it seemed to me that Vincent wasn't having any luck either.I decided to take a break and call Aubrey again but she didn't answer. Was she okay?I arrived at Hotel Hendricks and asked the secretary for Aubrey. I was beginning to lose hope on finding her."Sorry sir, there is no Aubrey Vanderbilt here." Damn it!I was about to turn and walk away when an idea popped into my mind."Is there an Aubrey Evans?"The woman typed on her computer for a few minutes."Yes, what is your affiliation with this woman?" She asked."She is my wife."She gave me a stern look and stared at me intently."Please, I just want to see her," I begged as I showed the woman my wedding band."She is in room 125 she checked in a couple hours ago."I took the elevator all the way up. I was determined to find her.I arrived at room 125, took a deep breath and knocked on the door. A few seconds passed and she opened the door. With a startled look she took a small step back.Haden," she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper."Aubrey.""What are you doing here?" she asked in a small voice, curiosity and surprise mingling in her words."I came for you," her eyes widened at my words."I'm fine Haden. You can leave. I'm okay.""Aubrey you are coming home with me. You have a role to play, it's to be my wife and you need to be present. What will my parents think if you are not at home?""So that's why you came? For your reputation? You don't actually care about me," she muttered. Maybe I shouldn't have said that."Aubrey, let's just go.""Fine."She took a few minutes to gather herself and we left together. I sent Vincent a message to tell him I found Aubrey. We arrived at home a few minutes later and I finally realized how tired I really was.I had a long day and I needed to rest.I took a shower , ate some food and settled in bed.I don't know how long I was sleeping but I heard a loud, piercing scream. It sounded like, Aubrey?I got out of bed and went to her room. I found her screaming and thrashing around the bed."Please leave me alone," she screamed."Haden help me," she cried in agony and I felt a pang in my chest. It unsettled me to hear her like that."Aubrey wake up," I shook her awake. Her eyes fluttered open as tears cascaded down her face. Her eyes held so much pain."What's wrong Aubrey?" I questioned."Haden he is looking for me," she cried."Who is looking for you?"She just stared at me and continued crying as her lips quivered."Hey it's alright," I cooed and after a few minutes she settled down.I was about to leave the room when she held unto my hand."Can you please stay?" She begged. I've never seen her so vulnerable."I can't.""Haden please," She looked like she was on the brink of tears again."Alright," I sat on a chair beside her. A couple minutes later I closed my eyes as I felt sleepiness capture me, all the while Aubrey's tear stricken face plagued my mind.AubreyMy eyes fluttered open to reveal Haden sitting next to me.The memories of last night came flooding into my mind. My face instantly flushed at the thought of me begging him to stay. He looked rather uncomfortable sitting on that chair. I took a minute to observe his features. His long lashes fanned over his face and he wore pink pouty lips as he slept. As if noticing my gaze his eyes snapped open.I looked away from him, a crimson blush covering my face."Good Morning," I greeted."Morning." "Thanks for um, staying the night," I smiled and his eyes softened for a moment."I didn't do it for you Aubrey. I did it because if I didn't stay you would have kept crying and disturb me from my sleep," his words stabbed me.I promised myself I wouldn't cry when he insults me. I'm better than that."Okay, I understand."He paused for a moment then left my room. Why is he so bipolar? Yeesh, it's annoying.I jumped into the shower and took a nice refreshing bath. After brushing my teeth,
HadenThese past few days I've been avoiding Aubrey. I don't know why I brought these women here every night. I just needed to be free because I was very frustrated.I woke up earlier than usual this morning. A brunette was lying next to me. I can't even remember her name, she threw herself at me last night and I just brought her home.I shook her awake. It's time for her to leave."Hey baby," she purred seductively. She wasn't even attractive and she was trying way to hard. Her makeup was smudged and she was naked under the sheets."Its time you leave," I stated as I got out of bed."We could have more fun," she winked and I rolled my eyes. I was losing my patience with this girl."Look, whatever you thought happened last night was just pure sex and quite frankly I want nothing more to do with you. So get your ass up and leave my house now." She stared at me in terror, grabbed her clothes and rushed out of my room.A couple minutes later I took a shower and got dressed in some casua
Aubrey's POVBlake's words rang through my head as I ran outside and darted into the rose garden. I use to always come here whenever I was upset.Blake never liked me, not one bit. Ever since we were young he despised me.Sitting on a nearby bench, I took some deep breaths. I needed some time to recuperate.I felt a presence beside me. It has to be Emma she always use to come after me."Not now Emma. I'm in no mood to talk," I whispered.'I'm not Emma," Haden spoke huskily."Oh, what are you doing here?" "I don't know, I came to look at the moon," he answered sarcastically. He actually came looking for me. That brought a small smile to my face."You didn't have to.""Can you explain what happened back in there?" He questioned completely ignoring what I just said."That's my brother as you may have realized. I was adopted when I was a baby. My adoptive parents found me in an alley one autumn morning. I was left there in a small basket which surprisingly held enough warmth for me to su
Haden"C'mon Haden, you're cheating," Vincent whined."I'm not. I'm just way better at this than you," I retorted. We were currently in my office stacking plastic cups that we found in the storage room. I suppose I was better at it than Vincent."I win!" I shouted as Vincent glared at me."I swear we are so childish sometimes," he laughed."So how are things going between you and Aubrey?" He questioned."Still the same. I'm angry at her for ruining my life. Speaking of that, I miss Ivory. She hasn't spoken to me since she left." "She's probably mad at you or blames herself for what happened to Aubs." "Aubs? And yeah, I guess so. I have to make things right between us.""That's my nickname for her," he said and I rolled my eyes."Just don't tell Ivory about when you were sleeping with all those women." "Damn it. I completely forgot about that. I'm such an idiot.""Right you are," Vincent sniggered which made me glare at him."I really screwed up this time," I groaned."You can tell
Aubrey"Are you serious? Of course, I'd love that," I giggled over the phone."Alright see you in a bit," I hung up.Vincent invited me to the zoo with his cousins. He told me they were quite a handful and asked if I could help him watch them for the day. I had to agree because I loved children and plus I hadn't been to the zoo for quite a while.I took a shower and shampooed my hair. I got dressed in a black sleeveless crop top, denim shorts, grey cardigan, a pair of converse and a black handbag.Brushing my hair a final time, I was ready to go. Rushing downstairs I bumped into a rock hard chest."S-sorry Haden," I muttered without looking at him.To my surprise, Haden walked past me without a second glance. Usually, he would yell at me for bumping into him. Guess he's in a better mood today.A few minutes later Vincent pulled up in front of the house. When I entered the car he introduced me to his cousins."This is Dennis, the eldest. He's 17.""I can introduce myself Vincent. Plus
AubreyI was busy organizing the last few details for the party. The guests would be arriving soon, and I needed everything to be prepared before then. A couple minutes later the doorbell rang indicating the delivery man with the cake had arrived. I thanked him while he along with four other men delivered the cake to the center table in the room. The cake was huge and consisted of many flavors ranging from vanilla, chocolate, lemon, and red velvet.I managed to take a quick shower before the party. I wore a black sequin dress that showed a little cleavage. I matched it with my pearl necklace and earrings my father bought on business trip to Europe. I curled my hair and left it down. Finally, I did my makeup and wore my black suede pumps. I looked myself over in the mirror and was satisfied with the way I looked.I hurried downstairs in time to start welcoming my guests. Haden's parents were the first two people to arrive right on time."Hello dear," his mom greeted."Hi Mr. and Mrs.
HadenMy heart held so much sadness for Ivory. I was hurt because I saw the look in my dad's eyes. He looked at her with disgust and disbelief, like she was worth nothing. Two weeks had passed since the party and everything had settled. But there was this feeling that hung over the air. The feeling that Aubrey is the most hurt out of us all. She hadn't left the confines of her room since that party. She ordered our new maid, Lucia, to deliver food to her upstairs everyday. Lucia was a 45 year old woman with kind brown eyes, black hair with grey streaks. She had a plump figure, which she carried with confidence and a comforting presence.Currently sitting in the kitchen I slowly ate my breakfast, my mind often wandering back to Aubrey. Is she okay? After what happened between her and her brother, she seemed to be in a daze. After eating I strode upstairs and knocked on the door. I couldn't care less about Aubrey but the least I could do is check on her."Aubrey, open up!" I called onl
BlakeHow could this have happened? This can't be true. Aubrey couldn't want to end her life this badly. This is all my fault. It's been two weeks after the accident and Aubrey still didn't wake up.I held the contents of the letter in my hand. I kept reading it over and over. Every time it made my heart hurt even more. Dear Blake, I know that you hate me and I know that you will never accept me but I could never hate you in fact I love you. You are my brother and I look at you as my idol. I always wanted to play with you when we were younger. I always wanted to hang out with you because I always thought that you were so cool. I thought you'd be the brother to defend me from bullies and always save me. But I was wrong you were the bully. Yet I still couldn't hate you. I wanted to keep trying. I wanted to keep trying to save whatever we have. I wanted you to look at me as your sister. Treat me that way you treat Emmy. Now I see that's impossible and you're righ
Damien's POVI stared at the letter on my dresser. I hadn't given it to my mom yet. In the back of my mind, I was tempted to open it, but that wouldn't be right."Ugh, I should just give it to her," I thought out loud as I stood up.I took the letter up and went to her room. As I was about to knock on the door, Mom opened it."Hey, sweetie," She smiled."Mom, some guy gave me a letter to give to you," I passed it to her."Oh?"She opened it and I saw her eyes widen as she read its contents."W-Who gave this to you?" She stuttered."I don't know him, but he had black hair and blue eyes. He looked like he was in his 40s. He was tall and buff."Her eyebrows furrowed as she thought for a moment."Could it be....?" Her voice trailed off."Is something wrong?""Everything is fine, sweetie, but please don't speak to strangers, okay?""Sure."I wonder who that guy was and what Mom's hiding.I didn't have school today, and I just wanted to rest my body.As I was sitting on the sofa watching th
DamienI yawned softly as I got out of bed. Today is the soccer match. I was super excited and nervous, but I'm gonna do my best. Yesterday I got my driver's license, it was such a relief."Sweetie, are you getting ready for school?" Mom called."Yeah Mom. I'm gonna shower. I'll be down in a bit."After I brushed my teeth and showered, I got dressed for school. The game is taking place this afternoon so I still had time.My phone buzzed signaling that I had a notification.Checking my phone, I saw that I received a message from Dad.Dad: Hey, I just wanna wish you luck on your match today. I know that you're gonna play amazing. Always know that I'm proud of you Dami. His message brought a smile on my face as I replied to him.I made my way downstairs and met my mom placing breakfast on the table."Big day today Dami." She smiled as I took a seat."Yeah, I hope everything works out." "It will, you've been working hard for this.""We're coming to see your match this evening Damien."
Damien"So, are you gonna come to Jonah's party, Phil?" I questioned as we entered the library."Of course not.""Why?""I just don't feel like it." He shrugged."Is it because he's dating Evelyn?" I questioned and he stiffened."No, Evelyn can do whatever the hell she wants. That's not my concern.""Well, you never usually miss a party so I assumed something was up.""I'm just focusing on my studies, I don't need any distractions.""Whatever you say bro."We sat and finished our essay for literature class.Halfway through the essay I heard Phil sigh and drop his pen on the table. He rocked back on the chair, his arms propped behind his head as he look at the ceiling."This is so frustrating.""It's not that hard, we just have to write about any theme in the novel of our choice. Choose a few examples and explain how it was used.""You're actually good at literature, I wish I could say the same." He sighed."I'll help you.""Thanks man." He pulled out his copy of to 'Kill A Mockingbird
Damien"Hold up, Did you say Xavier Vanderbilt?" I repeated and she nodded."I know him. Well, actually my mom knew him. He was a friend of the family." "Do you think she would tell me about him?" "I'm sure she will. Speaking of that I should be getting home and you should come with me. You could ask my mom about Xavier." I suggested."That sounds good." We took the bus and arrived home in 20 minutes."Hello Cassidy. How are you?" Mom smiled."I'm fine Aunty. How are you?" "I'm good darling.""You're home early. Didn't you have practice?" Mom asked me."I did but something much more important came up. Mom, Cassidy and I need to talk to you about something." "Ofcourse." She said calmly but a worried look graced her features. We walked into the living room and mom sat opposite me."Do you guys want something to drink?" Mom asked."I'd like a glass of water." Cassidy said."Me too." I chimed in.Minutes later, mom came back with the water and some biscuits for us."Now, what's going
Damien "Dami, wake up or you'll be late for school." My mom yelled.I groaned as I rolled off the bed. As a sixteen year old I need rest. I've been training a lot as it was soccer season."Damien, I'm not gonna call again." Mom yelled from downstairs.I walked downstairs and sat at the table."Finally, you're awake." Mom smiled as she placed my breakfast in front of me.Dad came downstairs in a hurry with his suitcases. He's going to Italy for a week. "Daddy, do you have to go?" Amelia whispered."Yes sweetheart, I do.""But I want you to stay." She whined. Out of all of us, Amelia spent the most time with Dad. They played a lot together. She is quite the spoilt nine year old but in a good way.He put down his suitcases and scooped her into his arms."Amelia, I'll be back before you know it. I have a surprise for you when I get back.""A surprise?" Her eyes gleamed."Yes, so will you be patient and wait for me?" She paused for a moment and then nodded."Good girl." He kissed her for
Aubrey was now 18 years old. She had grown into a beautiful young woman. Her beauty held no bounds. People would turn heads as soon as they saw her. Aubrey sat at the table, a frown on her face as she calmly went through the numbers for the party. "Hm? Am I missing someone?" She thought out loud as she looked at the list. Suddenly the door opened and someone walked in. Aubrey got up from her seat and bumped into Blake. She tumbled into him and almost fell to the ground, but he steadied her. "Are you okay?" He asked politely, and she nodded."I'm fine," she smiled as she looked up at him with her beautiful eyes. Blake cleared his throat and stepped at the side. "This is my parents' home. I would like to know who you are?" Blaked cracked a smile. "It's Aubrey silly," she giggled and looked up at him, "Welcome home," she smiled. "A-Aubrey?" He stuttered. "Yup. You're just on time. I was planning your party." "Nothing has changed," he scowled, "I don't want to be around you."
Months had passed since Aubrey's return home. Despite the ongoing tension between her and Blake, life had settled into a semblance of normalcy. As young as she was, she was beginning to understand how things worked and how she would have to live with people not liking her. It might be difficult, but it was still important that she understand this concept. Aubrey had learned to navigate the unspoken boundaries in their home, trying her best not to provoke her brother's anger. She avoided him like the plague. She buried herself in her schoolwork, finding solace in her studies and the close bond she had developed with her parents and younger sister, Emma. Her parents ensured that she still enjoyed her life as she used to before. In fact, they sent Blake away as much as they could. One sunny afternoon, while playing in the backyard with Emma, Aubrey suddenly felt an overwhelming wave of dizziness wash over her. She had been running around, laughing, when her legs gave way, and she stum
"Blake, what are you doing?" An 11 year old Emma questioned as she picked up a tray that was on the table in the study."Nothing that concerns you Emma," He held a stoic expression as he looked through the files. "What do you mean nothing that concerns me? You're going through dad's files and that's wrong! I'm going to tell." Blake's eyes narrowed at her. He was five years her senior and she knew better than to challenge him. "Emma," He paused, "Perhaps if we're outing each other now. Why don't I tell mom and dad that you failed that Spanish test?" He calmly threatened causing her to stiffen and grow pale. "Blake, you can't do that." "Then mind your own business. There's no way that you would think that it's actually okay to be involved in my affairs do you?" "No, I'll leave you be now," She muttered angrily as she left the room. Blake rolled his eyes and continued his search. His eyes lit up as he came upon the delicious truth he was looking for. A devious smirk danced on his
Xavier "Xavier, please. Give me one more chance." "I don't think so." "I'm sorry about everything. It was a mistake." "Fucking that designer was a mistake? Parisa be serious right now. That wasn't a mistake and we both know it." "B-But I love you Xavier." She whispered as she took a step towards me. "Well I guess that love wasn't enough then. You cheated on me. You had no reason to but you did. Do you know how much I love you? Do you know how much I care? Did you ever stop to think about how I would feel? I gave you every single thing I could. I did all I could do for you but it still wasn't enough. I don't know what's wrong with you. I can't say anything else about this." I sighed."Please, let's just talk about this. I'm begging you. I want us to be together. I don't wanna give up on us. I'm so sorry Xavier. Please." She begged as she tried to hug me. I gently moved her away and took a step back. "I think the least you could do is respect me by leaving me alone. Parisa, I wa
