Ch. 118 Augustus

Augustus' P.O.V.

Cassie had come for me, when I wasn't expecting it, with a vengeance. She was pissed the fuck off when I used that sun essence potion the second time she fed on me. She sucked on my neck till I was woozy, and then she whispered some foreign language in my ear, and the next thing I knew we were fucking like rabbits. I can't remember much of it at all. It was like I was trapped in some spell, and my only focus was her. Only it wasn't her, it was Nova, or at least I thought it was Nova, until the real Nova showed up and yelled at me. That's when whatever spell Cassie had me under seemed to break.

I hurt Nova so much. I wanted to kill that vampire bitch. I couldn't believe she did that shit to me. She's petty beyond belief. She's vicious and cruel and a goddamn pesky mosquito that I just want to squish with my hands. Nova hasn't spoken to me all week. She's avoided me at every turn, and any time I do see her, she pretends I don't exist. She hasn't even spared me a glance
