121. WHERE IS HOME?

Darian got a call and had to leave for New York, he left Lena with his mother, hoping something positive would come up while he was away.

Lena had just served Isabella's food on the small plate that was recommended by the Doctors for her daily meal. She smiled at her, persuading her to come to eat, but Isabella didn't get up from the bed. Instead, she was gawking and smiling at Lena.

"Are we now friends?" She asked Lena.

"Of course, we are." Lena sat close to her on the bed. She wished she could tell her that they were more than friends, that they were family, and that she was her son's wife. "Now, will you eat? I want to serve you as a friend."

She successfully lured Isabella into eating the whole food. When the plate of rice was empty, she asked if she wanted more but she shook her head in declination. Lena didn't argue, she was satisfied that Isabella got to eat something, at least.
