CELESTINA

I watched Sevastian return to the couch, his movements deliberate and unhurried. When he reached it, he sank into the plush leather, his arms stretching out along the top of the couch in a posture of effortless command.

He crossed one leg over the other, his gaze bearing down on me cold, detached, and utterly unreadable.

"Crawl to me," he commanded like a fucking sort of king.

A surge of reluctance flared within me. I glared at him, as my body tense with resistance. But the glint of the gun in his hand, aimed steadily in my direction.

And because of that, I erased any thought of rebelling in his command

Swallowing my pride, I lowered myself onto my hands and knees, the hard floor pressing painfully against my palms.

Each movement was a struggle, my muscles protesting as I inched forward, the weight of humiliation bearing down on me.

Sevastian watched me in silence, his expression inscrutable, as I made my way toward him.

The room seemed to stretch endlessly, the distance bet

  • Wedded To My Enemy   Chapter 51: Until You Beg

SEVASTIANThe belt struck her thigh with a resounding crack, and I watched as Celestina flinched, her body tightening in response. Yet, even now, even after the searing lash of leather against her skin, she didn’t cry out. Her silence was maddening and her stubbornness infuriated me beyond reason.I tightened my grip on the belt, the leather creaking under the strain of my clenched fist. The sight of her, kneeling there getting bruised yet so stubborn, ignited the fire inside me. Every strike I made was met with the same infuriating obstinacy, as if she were daring me to break her.I scoffed. She would rather endure my wrath than submit and beg for my mercy, huh?I made another lash, this time across the curve of her backside. Her breath hitched, but she bit her lip, trapping the pain behind clenched teeth. My chest heaved with the force of my rage, the storm of emotions threatening to consume me. How could she choose this? How could she willingly endure my fury, my punishment,

  • Wedded To My Enemy   Chapter 52: Pain and Pleasure

CELESTINAI flinched when the belt struck my thigh again, it was sharp and precise, the sting shooting through my skin like a fire. How long do I have to endure this kind of punishment? Does he really think that I will kill those two just because of his petty jealousy? “Ahh!” A soft moan escapes from my lips when he hits me. In peripheral vision, I saw him smirk when he heard my voice. With a satisfying smile on his lips, Sevastian struck me again with his leather belt. My teeth dug into my lip as I held back my gasp. His face turned dark sullen when he saw me trying to hold my breath as I accepted his madness. He loomed over me, his gaze was cold and piercing through my flesh. “I’ll give you one more chance,” he said in a low voice laced with warning. “Beg for mercy.” He added, as he grabbed my hair roughly and forced me to meet his eyes. The pain radiating from my scalp made my eyes sting, but I refused to look away. Instead of cowering, I smirked. “Why?” I asked, the wo

  • Wedded To My Enemy   Prologue

CELESTINAThe cold edge of my knife rested against Sevastian Ortega’s throat, hanging like a sharp edge enough to draw blood. His dark, soulless eyes stared down at me with the kind of contempt that made my skin crawl. But I didn’t flinch, I couldn’t, not in front of a man like him. He’s a tyrant wrapped in charm, a devil in diguised. If I showed even the slightest hint of weakness, I knew he would shatter me into pieces. “What the hell are you plotting?” I demanded, my voice sharp and steady despite the knot tightening in my gut. Sevastian didn’t answer right away. He just stood in front of me calmly, as if the knife at his neck was nothing more than a toy that cannot threaten his life. I hate it. I hate how composed he is while I am infuriating with rage. His dark brown eyes bore through me, making a hole in the depths of my soul.I saw his tongue poke his cheek before he spoke. “Marriage.” His deep baritone voice suddenly echoed to my ears. I blinked. For a second, I t

CELESTINA It’s my wedding day and everyone was looking forward to the union between the two families who used to be enemies. The two families which were divided by hatred and bloodshed, is now to be sealed in the most ironic way, a marriage. They say I’m the fortunate one, the golden child of Carson, the girl destined for grandeur. But behind closed doors, the truth is ugly. My father sees me as nothing more than a pawn—a perfectly sculpted vase to be placed on display, traded for his insatiable thirst for power. Not long ago, I was married into the Savelli family, standing at the altar with Hector, a man I once believed would protect me. But promises turn hollow when betrayal strikes. Hector’s deception cut through me like a blade, and as quickly as I became his wife, I was cast aside. After my father knew what happened, he immediately came to the Savelli and annulled our marriage, leaving behind whispers of scandal and eyes full of judgment. When our marriage dissolved as qu

SEVASTIANI tightened my hold on her waist as we moved down the aisle, my eyes scanning the crowd briefly before glancing down at Celestina. Her head was tilted slightly upward, her expression one of pure bridal serenity a great facade to fool everyone. "You might enjoy this a little too much,” I murmured under my breath, just loud enough for her. My lips curled in a smirk, though I didn’t bother looking at her face. Her reply came soft and sweet, coated in mockery. “And you might find yourself wishing you’d chosen someone weaker.”Her words sent a flicker of amusement through me, unexpected but not unwelcome. I let out a low laugh, one I didn’t bother to mask. It blended perfectly with the cheers of our audience. “Oh, I chose perfectly, amore. Weakness isn’t entertaining.”Her smile sharpened, and I caught the gleam in her eyes, dangerous and intoxicating. She leaned in just enough to keep her tone private. “Good. Because I don’t intend to bore you, I only mean to destroy you.”

CELESTINA We finally reach the reception which is being held in Esperanza. As we stepped into the mansion, the crisp clicks of my heels against the polished marble echoed louder than any word spoken. Ortega’s men stood like statues on the left side, their cold, assessing eyes fixed on my every move. On the right, my father’s men mirrored their stance, exuding equal intensity. Sevastian and I climbed the sweeping staircase to the second floor, our steps synchronized but worlds apart. At the top, a heavy oak door greeted us, flanked by men who opened it upon our arrival. Inside, two imposing figures sat on opposite ends of a long mahogany table. Between them lay a contract, a simple piece of paper that shows the union of the two families. I strode to my father’s side, my shoulders squared and head held high. Sevastian moved with the same calculated confidence, settling beside Emilio Ortega. Without any word, Sevastian picked up the contract, his sharp gaze scanning the terms.A

SEVASTIANThe weight of the gun that points at my chest makes my body feel tense not because of fear that gripped me but it was the fascination that I felt. My wife stood before me like a storm who’s ready to destroy everything, the unyielding fire in eyes did not waver, her aim was steady as if one wrong move she would pull the trigger. However, I am not afraid that she will do something. I am confident that she needs me. I leaned against the table, crossing my arms with casual confidence. “If you were trying to impress me, mi esposa, I have to admit, it’s working.”Her sharp eyes narrowed, “I’m not here to impress you, Sevastian. I’m here to make it clear. I’m not yours to control.”The defiance in her voice stirred something primal in me, a challenge I hadn’t expected but found myself eager to meet. “Is that what you think this is?” I asked, tilting my head slightly. “A battle for control?”She stepped closer, the cold steel in her hand is still fixed. “It’s not a battle, it’s

CELESTINAAs Sevastian turned his back and returned to the couch, I noticed a glint of metal on the table before me, a knife seemingly within reach. My heart raced as I contemplated seizing it, a desperate bid for control in this perilous situation.Summoning my resolve, I inched my hand toward the blade, my fingers trembling as I reached it. Just as I was about to grasp it, a deafening gunshot shattered the tense silence. The bullet struck the knife, sending it clattering across the floor, well beyond my reach.Startled, I snapped my gaze to Sevastian. He was now seated on the couch, one leg casually crossed over the other. In one hand, he held a revolver, its barrel still smoking; in the other, a glass of whiskey. His cold, unyielding eyes bore into mine, a chilling reminder of the man I was dealing with."Interesting," he drawled, his voice laced with mockery."You hesitate to kill Donovan, yet you don't think twice about attempting to kill your own husband."His words dripped wit

CELESTINAI must have drifted off without realizing it. The noise outside jolted me awake. Rubbing my eyes, I hurried out of the room. Agent Rivera's face was tense, and my friends Cleo, Marge, and Lilith were anxiously preparing to leave."What's happening?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.Lilith glanced at me, her expression grim. "The Ortega group is on their way. Somehow, they've discovered our location. We need to move, now."Confusion and fear twisted inside me. How could they have found us? Unless... Without wasting a moment, I inspected my clothes. There, hidden at the back, was a tiny tracking device. I cursed under my breath."Sevastian," I muttered, anger boiling within me. "He must have planted this on me."Agent Rivera's jaw tightened. "We need to evacuate immediately.""No," I said firmly. "Have your men leave. You and my friends should stay.""That's out of the question," Agent Rivera replied."Please," I insisted. "If they find us all here, none of us will b

  • Wedded To My Enemy   Chapter 46: Velaria

CELESTINA I waited until I heard the heavy thud of Sevastian’s footsteps fade away as he stormed out of the apartment. A chill ran through me, but I refused to let myself break. I couldn’t afford to. Not now, that I must protect someone so important to me. The moment I was certain he was gone, I stumbled to my laptop, my hands trembling as I sat down at the desk. My body felt weak, but my mind was racing. I had to act fast. I couldn’t let Sevastian go through with this. I can’t allow Sevastian to kill Leo’s father, Donovan hasn't seen his son neither my twin sister, Velaria. I opened a new message, quickly typing in my friends' names: Lilith, Marge, and Cleo.“I need you to do everything you can to save Donovan,” I typed as quickly as my fingers would allow, my anxiety building with every word. “If possible, hide him. He can't die. Leo and Velaria need him.”I paused for a second, the weight of my words sinking in. I had never asked them for something this dangerous, but it was

  • Wedded To My Enemy   Chapter 45: Drag You To Hell

SEVASTIANThe moment my hand brushed against her scar, something inside of me froze. It wasn’t just her skin beneath my touch, it was the truth that Donovan’s words are fucking right. A cold, nauseating feeling spread through me, and I felt as if the ground beneath my feet had suddenly disappeared. The scar, it was small, almost invisible to anyone who wasn’t looking for it, but it felt like a fucking betrayal.I wasn’t prepared for it. It wasn’t just the mark itself, but the realization that the woman Donovan had been searching for, the woman whose past had been tangled with his, was right in front of me, and that is my wife, Celestina. The thought of it made my blood boil, my fists tightening. My chest constricted with the fury that burned through me. This woman, this woman I had married, had a past one that I hadn’t even known about until this moment.I was furious. And I didn’t know if I was more angry at her or at myself for not knowing.I glared down at her. “So this is what

CELESTINAThe moment Sevastian leaned closer, I could feel the heat radiating off his body, his presence suffocating me with each passing second. His lips were just inches away, taunting me with their closeness, daring me to make the first move. But I wasn’t about to let him win and do whatever he wanted. I was angry.Angry that he thought he could just overpower me, angry that he thought I’d simply fall into his control. But then again, what was I supposed to do? Let him win without a fight? I wasn’t that weak. So, I gave him what he wanted.I leaned in, just a fraction, making sure he could feel the tension in the air between us. My lips brushed against his, a light touch at first, testing the soft skins on his lips. But as soon as our mouths met, I felt a jolt of heat rush through me. I could feel him smirk against my lips, knowing exactly what I was doing. For a moment, I held back. My mind screamed at me to stop. But my body betrayed me. His kiss deepened, and I couldn’t r
