When they got to the store they realized how unprepared they were for this. Normally Max pushed the cart with the two children until they started piling the things in the cart then Deanna held Henry until they finished. Now with four they had no idea how to do this. “Okay you take two and I will take two until we have to use one of the carts. Poppy and Clover will then be moved into this cart and I will push the heavier one.” Max said as he thought about it. “We will get one of those baby holder things for next time. The triplets can then ride in one cart and I will wear Michelle.”
“Or I can.” Deanna said as she lifted Poppy and Clover into the cart. “Max this is going to be an adjustment regardless of everything else. We will find a way to get through it as long as we work together.”
“I know that, my sweet. However you already hav
He was still whispering in her ear. “Find one of the workers and tell them someone is following you and the kids. They will have to call security and then we can get the stuff and get out of here but I don’t want to take any chances that she can follow us.” Max said quickly and directly in her ear. “Something isn’t right.”“Alright.” Deanna said as she moved throughout the aisles and she could hear Max behind her and the woman who was still following them closely. Though the woman was older it seemed that she was trying to get closer to Deanna at times when Max would block her off quickly. It also seemed it was the one time she couldn’t find someone that worked there.Three more times the older woman tried to get up closer to Deanna who changed directions quickly and Max blocked the woman off. It alm
“I talked to my dad today.” Max said as he looked at her as they watched the three toddlers tear up the main area of the house as they played. It was a good sight to see as they both sat on the couch and just sat in silence as they watched them.“Oh?” Deanna said as she turned to him.“Mom did take her medication last night after we left and again this morning. When she woke up again in the morning she had no idea what had happened during the night. He was sure it wasn’t a game she was playing or anything, she really didn’t remember anything from the days before. She didn’t know about the flowers and she had no idea she had said anything to you or me.” Max said.“Max I already told you I forgave her.” Deanna said. “Regardless of her issues she has been good
Max was waiting for a phone call from the department. He knew they were still investigating the house and the people that had lived there. The Watson siblings were all being taken care of at a few different hospitals. He knew it wouldn’t be hard to see the truth for the doctors that most of the siblings were clearly insane. He didn’t have to witness any more from them to know it. He hoped the doctors would see it as cut and dry. Though he never wanted to have them released and the criminal charges would be there waiting for them when they were it was easier to focus what was in front of him. Deanna had her own issues to get through. He hoped she would open up to at least him at some point.“You do know that you can talk to me about anything, right?” he blurted out as they were waiting for the food he ordered for dinner to arrive.
After Deanna settled down after a few hours of sitting there and asking her questions and getting some of the built up emotions out she was laying on the couch resting as the baby was in her swing and the toddlers were happily playing together with all the toys scattered on the floor. Max took the scene in and knew he couldn’t be more pleased with his life. Though he understood how upsetting life was for Deanna he also knew that she would find her feet. Though she didn’t think she was strong in any way she was. She had the ability to move on and find her feet in everything that had happened without to much help.He knew everything would take time to come to grips with. He knew that she might have long lasting doubts about things as well. Right now she was focused on building their life together. He also knew that she was overly emotional because of the pregnancy. Sh
Deanna knew Max wanted to go with her after work to help her find the perfect dress for the day that would mark their joining as a married couple. Though she could use the alone time for once she knew he wanted to make sure nothing else happened that was odd around her. The simple fact was the idea of shopping with him was more comfortable though that meant four little ones were coming as well. The days seemed to blend together in the office without any windows. They knew when they had office hours and when the classes were but neither of them seemed to want to do anything but spend the day in the cool room with the children. When Max had class he often would set up one or two of the portable cribs on the stage off in the lecture hall and one or two of the triplets would be there with him as he gave his speeches for the class. He had changed dramaticall
Deanna shook her head at him as he helped load the kids in the car. He was talking to each one of them as he did with a huge grin on his face. “Guess what guys we have to go to the store to get your mommy’s wedding dress so she will be a Anderson as well.” He said to Henry first then carried on to Poppy. “I guess we should get you two something really special to wear too.” And then he picked up Clover and kissed her cheek, “You can help pick it out.”“Max are you done?” Deanna asked as she snapped Michelle’s car seat in the spot and then went to her spot in the front of the van. Though she had not really been to happy with the choice he had made in the beginning when he brought the van home it did have plenty of space in it for all of the kids and they wouldn’t have to get another one for some time.
As the two walked through the building looking in stores for some things for the kids and themselves. They stumbled into another store while laughing.at themselves and the kids as they pointed to things they had never seen before. When Max looked at the wall he saw the two dresses that would be perfect for the girls for the wedding. He pushed his way over there and reached up and took the two dresses off the wall. They were two different colors though they were of a similar style. They would be easy enough to remember who was in which one. Though they were identical they did have very different tastes in things he noticed in the short time they had them. It would be easier to tell them apart when they were older. Max looked around and wondered why people would dress their twins in matching outfits and whatnot. It would lead to confusion for the parents and even more important i
She yawned as they got in the van after putting the kids down. He smiled to himself knowing the reason she was so tired lately and for once it really didn’t have to do with the family she had left behind. It was the family they were building together. The baby would be the one to unite them completely though it didn’t matter to much to him. it was more about the life they were building together. The baby was just a symbol of the love he had for her and the reverse was also true. She had walked into his life three times and changed it each time. The only student he was ever attracted to and the one who had his heart and had taught him that he could love. She had given him a purpose in life with her presence and with her little elf siblings. He now felt more at ease with himself and his life that he was okay with losing his job though he had planned on leaving it.

As they looked over the crowd that had gathered he leaned closer to her, “I said small by the way. I had no idea.”“It is fine.” She said as she smiled up at him. She smiled at the crowd that was making their way up to the pair. She saw the other flower girls and smiled at them. Her aunts were here with their new families as well. “how?”“I have no idea.” Max said with his grin. “it is just a magical day when a human marries the elf queen.”“I don’t get you.” She said as she shook her head and he laughed. The first wave of people finally had made it to them. As Max introduced her to his extended family one by one she smiled and was true to form in being the nicest person in the world. After the first wave the second came upon them. These people she alr
After getting the girls ready Deanna sat on the bed knowing Max was getting himself and Henry ready in some other place in the house. She looked at the mirror in Max’s old bedroom and she smiled as she got in her dress. Her hair was another story. As she brushed it out the natural waves came through and she smiled as she knew anything she tried to do to it was going to fail. She applied the light make up she had chosen and then brushed the hair again as it was drying. When she placed the veil on her head along with the metal leafed crown that Max had insisted on because of course she was the elfin queen and she had to look her part for the day. As she smiled when Marie had knocked and opened the door at her answer.“You look so beautiful.” She said as she looked at Deanna with approving eyes. The older woman looked to be on the verge of tears. “I know that this
When they woke up in the morning they tried to keep the kids on the schedule thy normally stayed with for the mornings before work. Everyone was dressed in normal clothes and Max had already taken the outfits for the ceremony out to the car. Everything was now packed up including travel beds and treats along with meals. The day was ready to begin for real now.Deanna went into the car after they got the kids in it and was sitting there ready for the day. Still a little tired from the night before as they had enjoyed the last night of being single. Max smiled at her and started the drive. Though it would take an hour he was fine with the relative silence in the van.His parents house would be a staging area for them. They would unload the van from their stuff for the day and then they would pile up back into it to set up for the day. Then they would retu
Max led the way to the car after putting the portable cribs back in his office. It was always a hassal of lugging the cribs back and forth but he wasn;t willing to leave Deanna for any amount of time where he couldn’t act if he had too. The news had hit about the Watson siblings and that added to the frenzy around the orginal case. She was still very much in the crosshairs. Max wasn;t willing to budge on the fact he needed to be there around her and he had to be armed as well.He would gladly protect her from any of the possible threats that could happen. Though for the most part people seemed to respect her privacy and didn’t ask to many questions some thought it was okay to dig deeper into her life. Soon one element would be erased. It was a beginning to end the nightmare that had surrounded the two.Max was more surprised when he received
The next few days flew by as they settled into a new routine. Max was doing the barest minimum for the class. The students all noticed and more than a few had questioned him about it. The office hours had been cut and the lectures had become almost boring as Max spent more time holding one of the kids than he spent talking to the students.“I know that you all were interested in the class however things have come up and we will not be continuing like we were before. I know in the beginning of the year I explained how I want all of you here for each lecture. Now the only thing that will really be required is that you show up for the exams and the final.” Max said as one of the students looked at him and asked what was really going on.“So you are finding that letting your TA and her kids into your life a little too much?” one of the girls asked from the second r
