Max sat there and answered all of the questions that the social worker asked as he helped the two little girls finish their plates as Deanna sat behind one of them, helping her as well. As soon as the toddler was done Deanna got up and went over to the other bunch of girls in her mind she had dubbed the flowers. She smiled at everyone. “Was it good?” Deanna asked as she sat down with them and looked around.

“Yes.” She heard as each of the girls spoke and nodded their heads.

“Good.” Deanna smiled. “These people that are here right now are going to be asking you some questions, and they will have you taken to the hospital. Doctors are there and will be checking you out, and then they will find some nice people for you to stay with. Some of you might be together, but we will have to see. Soon I will be there to vis

As she walked through the front door she felt the cool air of the season and let it fill her lungs. It felt good but she could feel the two little girls shiver in her arms. Deanna smiled as she walked back into the house and to one of the closet doors. She opened it and pulled out a jacket and two smaller ones that were for adults but they would be fine to wrap the girls in. She put hers on and then lifted the two in her ams and they wrapped their little arms around her neck as she wrapped the jacket around them. When they got outside she sat down and both girls huddled in front of her on her lap. She had wrapped the jackets around the two of them and soon both of them were fast asleep in her arms propped up on her chest. Mitchel walked over and looked at the small woman in his son’s arms. He shook his head as he looked at his wife who was still standing on the porch and looked like she was going to cry as well. The older man knew how much simple words could ruin a relationship. Though he was not known for his encouragement or his kind words he looked at his son who was doing better than he ever did.“She didn’t take her meds today. Max watched as Michelle eyelids fell slowly as he placed her in her crib that was in their bedroom. It seemed that he had gone from sleeping alone to having his room filled with beautiful females. Soon they would have to get Michelle ready for sleeping in her own room so the new baby can have this spot. Three new cribs would have to be ordered soon enough. Right now he wanted to do nothing more than to hold Deanna as the hot water eased the stress of the day. It had been a crazy one and had uncovered so many new clues to her families insanities. He knew under all the strength she seemed to have while dealing with anything that comes out about her family she was undeniably upset and hurt by the actions of those people she had called her family. They all had plotted around her because of their parents. So many people had got hurt because of them that Max knew she was hurting as well. Though she was trying to no

Deanna settled in for the morning as she watched Michelle in the swing and the three toddlers play together on the space between the couch and the tv. The three of them seemed to be speaking their own language as they would babble to each other and a toy would be passed to someone. Henry was showing them how to play as Deanna was sure that they had never seen a toy in their lives. It was amazing to see them interact. There was no doubt in Deanna’s mind that they had spent a good amount of time together. She couldn’t figure out when they would have though. Her mother was too busy beating the tiny boy and would have noticed if he wasn;t in his room. Her father had seemed indifferent to the boy to a point but she now knew that he had been a part of Henry’s life because of this interaction between him and the girls.Max had left a little more than two hours ago to

The next few days flew by as they settled into a new routine. Max was doing the barest minimum for the class. The students all noticed and more than a few had questioned him about it. The office hours had been cut and the lectures had become almost boring as Max spent more time holding one of the kids than he spent talking to the students.“I know that you all were interested in the class however things have come up and we will not be continuing like we were before. I know in the beginning of the year I explained how I want all of you here for each lecture. Now the only thing that will really be required is that you show up for the exams and the final.” Max said as one of the students looked at him and asked what was really going on.“So you are finding that letting your TA and her kids into your life a little too much?” one of the girls asked from the second r

She yawned as they got in the van after putting the kids down. He smiled to himself knowing the reason she was so tired lately and for once it really didn’t have to do with the family she had left behind. It was the family they were building together. The baby would be the one to unite them completely though it didn’t matter to much to him. it was more about the life they were building together. The baby was just a symbol of the love he had for her and the reverse was also true. She had walked into his life three times and changed it each time. The only student he was ever attracted to and the one who had his heart and had taught him that he could love. She had given him a purpose in life with her presence and with her little elf siblings. He now felt more at ease with himself and his life that he was okay with losing his job though he had planned on leaving it.
