2024-10-29 19:42:56Damien sent the driver to pick me up from my parents earlier today. Just three nights away from home and I already miss this place. I missed Damien. It was a while before I went to bed yesterday. I'd tossed and turned and reached out for him but he wasn't there.
Immediately, I stepped into the house, I was greeted with silence. I dropped my bag on the cream sofa and made my way to the kitchen. Mrs Rose came up behind me.
"Welcome home Mrs Forrest"
"Hi...Rose" I smiled as she collected my bag and started walking upstairs.
"Is my husband home?" I asked following right behind her.
"Yes ma'am. He came home early today. He's in his work room" She said before departing to keep my bag. I continued with the spiral stairs until I came to the door of Damien's work room. It looks like a library but it's not the house library. I opened the door peeping inside.
