Just as Sharon was about to go over, she halted after seeing Claude helping her out.

After the two picked up all of the fruits, they both stood up at the same time without paying much attention to each other. Then, they accidentally bumped into each other while standing up.

“Ah…” Candace rubbed on her sore forehead. She scrunched up her tiny nose and looked at the other party. It seemed like she had bumped into the man’s chest instead of his forehead. However, why on earth was the man’s chest muscles rock-hard?

Seeing that she was somewhat in pain, Claude quickly apologized, “I’m sorry… Are you alright?” He was slightly at a loss as well and clumsily waved his hands around, not knowing where to place them. The big man was utterly embarrassed at the moment.

It was as if he had never laid a finger on a woman before.

Seeing this adorable demeanor, Candace burst into a peal of laughter.
