“Haha, I love how straightforward you are!” William guffawed loudly. He then turned around to fix his gaze on Xena.

“Miss Amy, why do I feel like you’ve gotten prettier?” he asked as he narrowed his eyes and gave her a once over.

His gaze made Xena feel ashamed. He was being way too reckless!

With a frigid expression on her face, she said, “Please don’t call me Miss Amy from today onward. I’m not a secretary anymore. I’m now Simon’s wife. Please call me Mrs. Zachary.”

“What? Mrs. Zachary? Hahaha…” William burst out in laughter. He pointed at her and said, “Do you take me as a three-year-old child? Your joke is pretty funny.”

Xena’s face flushed bright red as she said, “I’m not joking, I’m telling the truth. We’ve obtained a marriage certificate. We’re husband and wife!”

William’s smile faded and he frowned. There was a look of disbelief on his face.

“President Zachary, have both of you really gotten married?”

Simon remained impassive. “Yes,” he said. He simply hummed in agree
