Chapter 704

While they were inside the car heading home, Sharon furrowed her brows as she looked out the window without saying a word.

“Did Eugene bully you?” Simon narrowed his eyes, examining her expression.

She abruptly regained her consciousness and shook her head, replying, “No.”

“Then why are you so unhappy?” He pinched her chin and looked into her eyes.

“I was just thinking about how he’s trapping Fern and the child by his side. It seems a bit wrong.” She knew that it was wrong but barely said anything to help Fern. She was inevitably feeling guilty about it in her heart.

Once he understood her thoughts, he dimly said, “He’s an adult, so he should be well aware of what he’s doing. It’s not something you should be worrying about. Since you have the time to think about this sort of thing, why don’t you think about our wedding instead?”

“I thought all of the wedding matters will be handled by you?” she said while smiling.

“I’m talking about the wedding rings we have to wear on our weddi
