“He’s at the door. Do you want to see him? I’ll take him to the parlor,” Glady said and was about to walk away.

“Wait.” Sharon stopped her immediately.

Glady turned back to look at Sharon. After staying silent for a few seconds, Sharon said, “I’ll go alone.”

When Sharon took off her lab coat, her hands were still shaking. She thought she would be calmer when she met him again after so long.

To be honest, she was unable to face him.

She spotted Simon and looked at him from afar.

He was standing at the door of the research lab. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt and black pants. His tall figure was standing straight and tall. His long eyebrows were slightly furrowed on his grave and noble face.

He had one hand in his pants pocket as he waited quietly for her to appear. Even though some time had passed, she could still feel the same intense and stifling aura coming from the man.

She could tell that he had gotten much thinner. She wanted to go over to help him smooth out the frown
