Chapter 341

In the hospital, the doctor was busy bandaging up Sharon’s slash wound on her neck. The location of the wound was dangerous. If Sally had exerted more force, Sharon would have kicked the bucket by now.

Once they came out of the hospital, the two sat inside the car, and Sharon could not help but sigh, “Is Mercury in retrograde or something? Why do I keep getting injured?”

Simon frowned and said solemnly, “God is telling you to come back to me quickly. I’m the only one who’ll be able to protect you.”

Sharon tilted her head to the side and scrutinized him. Finally, she pursed her lips and said, “I have no idea what God is trying to imply, but I know that if you didn’t shoot her in time, I would’ve died by Sally’s hands.” Hence, this meant that he had saved her again.

The man stretched his arms out and pulled her into his embrace again. Then, he said in a low voice, “Your life is mine. No one else is allowed to take it!”
