Sharon covered her mouth with her hand, utterly embarrassed. Damn it! The host most likely would not have heard her, would he?

She bit down on her hand to stop herself from crying out. Her heart was pounding like a drum. Just as she was about to reach behind her to push Simon away, he moved aside on his own.
