Quincy stared at her son in shock. He looked like an adult right now. He gave her a sense of security.

Was he going against his biological father on her behalf?

She could not help but feel touched. At the end of the day, he was still her child. He was still on her side.

“Thank you. You can protect Mommy when you grow up a little more.”

“I can protect you now,” Sirius said with an intent expression on his face.

“I want to protect Mommy too!” Little Cupcake added.

Quincy suddenly felt beyond touched when she looked at the two adorable children in front of her.

“Sirius, do you not want Daddy anymore now that you have Mommy?” Dayton asked.

Sirius turned around to look at him. He nodded affirmatively and said, “Yes, Mommy is enough for me. I don’t need you anymore.” His voice was full of aggravation.

Quincy thought Dayton would feel upset or say some nice words to coax their son, but he simply nodded and said, “Alright, you’ve lacked motherly love for such a long
