They had tried to hold a wedding ceremony more than once, but they had never been able to go through with it.

“It’s alright for us. Our children have already grown up anyway,” Sharon said with a shrug.

“Since that’s the case, Bonnie should be our flower girl during the wedding as well.”

Sharon rejected his offer. “Rue is enough. Bonnie is still too small. She can’t be a flower girl.”

Eugene huffed coldly. Bonnie was not that young. Sharon just could not bear to let her be a flower girl.

Old Master Newton remained silent as he listened to their conversation. He then said, “Move back into the Newton household after you get discharged from the hospital.”

Eugene thought about it for a while before saying, “Sure, I’ll move back in with Fern and Rue.”

The old master frowned. Was he trying to test his limits?

He glanced at Fern. Although he still found it hard to accept her, he had no choice since Eugene liked her.

“You should stay outside, then.” He did not object to
